This restaurant is located inside the Ortona gas station on the northbound route. Clean and welcoming, good food, service could be improved, and prices are average. Ultimately, for those short on time, it's more than adequate.

Two friends from Brazil and I just ate at this restaurant. Friendly, warm, and professional welcome! Very good fish and seafood dishes. Good value for money: a two-course menu with coffee, water, and wine, around €24 per person. I recommend it.

We go to southern Italy every two years or so. On the way back, a visit to Il Carro is practically a must, because contrary to all expectations, everything is excellent there. We think the food is very good, as is the service and ambiance. All the staff are friendly and serve very quickly. It's a real shame there isn't a restaurant like this across the street. We would definitely stop there. By the way, this restaurant is also clean and well-maintained. The same goes for the restrooms.

An exceptional option for those on the highway heading back north. Very friendly staff, excellent value for money, and it's a real restaurant, not a service station. It's also pet-friendly. Highly recommended.
