I'll start by saying that I confirm all the positive reviews about this property. I arrived well in advance of the check-in time, welcomed with coffee and water. I was allowed to leave my suitcase and change, so I could immediately tour the island. Upon returning, the room was ready, clean, pleasantly furnished and equipped, to my surprise, with a small, very efficient fridge. Outside the room, lines and a clothes horse to dry costumes and beach towels.
The breakfast was good, with a different cake every day, eaten on a panoramic and quiet terrace. The managers, Vincenzo and Carmen are exceptional. Available, discreet, always ready to give advice on how to best experience the island during your stay, they make you feel at home. Then there's also Pepe, the house pomeranian, always ready to be cuddled. The property is just a few, but really few, steps from all the useful activities and no more than 350 meters from the embarkation area of the port. Highly recommended, excellent value for money. Vincenzo's structure was the added value of our holiday in Ponza. Welcoming structure, spacious rooms equipped with all the comforts needed in a seaside location such as drying racks, towel change and room cleaning every day. The icing on the cake was the terrace with a panoramic view of the island where you can have breakfast with homemade cakes made by Vincenzo. Every day he delighted us with a different cake with the foresight to adapt the recipe based on the guests' allergies. He gave us precious advice to best experience the island regarding excursions, restaurants (with various agreements that allowed us to take advantage of discounts). Full availability in managing even the check-out giving the possibility of using a service bathroom and a shower for our last day at the beach before taking the ferry. As the host says "what more do you want?". Highly recommended. We will definitely come back to him!
Very welcoming structure and with an excellent location. The host Vincenzo is a lovely person, helpful and kind. Very spacious and clean double room. The terrace where breakfast is served has a beautiful view of the village and every morning there is a homemade dessert made by Vincenzo.
