The food at Il Cantinone restaurant is truly excellent. Their first courses were excellent, and the second courses were especially good. The desserts were delicious. I recommend booking in advance because it's always busy.

Excellent restaurant/trattoria, traditional Sabine/Roman dishes, excellent first courses (fettuccine, gnocchi) and second courses, generous portions, everything delicious. Of course, since we're alone, the service is a little slow, but they're really kind people. We'll be back.

Probably one of the best osterias I've eaten at in recent years. Impeccable service, a welcoming owner, and a special attention to freshness: everything is made in-house, even the bread! Simple and authentic cuisine, with quality ingredients, all local. All at truly reasonable prices.

Great food Stringozzi alla sabinese Absolutely top-notch Coniglio alla cacciatora... The sauce alone, with fresh rosemary and rabbit gravy with oil and salt, is a poem to lie in. Top-notch.

20/02/2026: I've known the restaurant for many years, where the food is excellent. It was recently and tastefully renovated, as was the hotel. I stayed there for one night. The room and bathroom were spacious and well-appointed. I was captivated by the simple yet elegant atmosphere. The hotel is family-run, and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommended.
02/01/2026: We are longtime customers of this beautiful establishment. Now renovated and made even more beautiful. Beautiful rooms, lounges, and beautiful facilities. 16/02/2026: I came here more than ten years ago. The portions were generous, the food was authentic, and it was reasonably priced. Today, compared to then, the first courses have been significantly reduced, but the second courses and side dishes are even more so, and not even as high-quality as one would expect in a place like this. Even the prices are now the same as any other restaurant in the city. Disappointed, but I had already been warned by locals that things had changed.
27/12/2025: We went here for Christmas lunch. The quality was excellent, and they're super-equipped for gluten-free options. I'll definitely be back. Everything was perfect, despite the restaurant being packed! Kindness and professionalism
