A beautiful restaurant in the hills at the foot of Cisa. Excellent first courses and superb meat, all accompanied by delicious wines. Impeccable service. What more could you ask for?

If it weren't for the constant and annoying noise due to the crowding of the room I would like to return. But at dinner it's nice to talk to the guests and if it's not possible to hear what they say......

Excellent experience, abundant dishes and excellent quality. The mushrooms, together with the various meat specialities, are the absolute flagship of this friendly, very family-run business. Everything excellent from starters to desserts. Well done.

The dishes were all very good and the final bill was very honest. However, I recommend not going on a Saturday evening, as you dine in one large, packed room and the talking becomes deafening. Too much confusion.

Posizione magnifica il nostro tavolo era su una bella terrazza con vista sulla vallata. Personale gentile e professionale molto attento. Cibo molto abbondante e decisamente delizioso . Gli antipasti sono super e poi abbiamo assaggiato due primi di pasta ripiena top! (Ravioli alla cenere e triangolini allo speck e radicchio con funghi ) dolci tutti ottimi!

22/12/2024: Here we have to say a few more words than usual: living in Lugano, my partner in Spezia, I often go down to visit her. Every time I come down, there is ONE place I absolutely must visit, and that is Officine del Cibo. I have eaten many pizzas in my life, but there are very, very few like this one. The "officine" pizza, with the crust filled with ricotta, is a mystical journey. If you add the VERY friendly staff, the VERY welcoming place, you get a practically unbeatable offer. Do yourself a favor: come and try these guys' pizza.

10/11/2024: For lunch with the family. Excellent dishes, well prepared and well cooked. Prices slightly above average but justify the quality. Excellent starters, abundant and well-seasoned spaghetti. Lobster paccheri a little small... 5 more paccheri wouldn't hurt. The house wine is missing... Since the dishes are a little more expensive than average, we would like bulk wine (also from Federici) but at a lower price....
