Very nice restaurant in the streets of Cascia. The menu offers various dishes of typical cuisine, I had a very good grilled pork from Norcia, served with potatoes. Fast and attentive service as costs are slightly above average.

I was at the Caminetto restaurant by pure chance and it was a great surprise. We took 2 strascinati alla Norcina, portion more than right, very balanced consistencies and flavours. For the second course we had the grilled lamb with rosemary potatoes and the braised veal cheek with puree. Here we could see the chef's hand very well, the raw materials are really good and worked with skill. The braised cheek is simply butter and the mash perfectly smooth and perfectly flavoured, the rosemary potatoes are often a flaw in restaurants I have tried, these melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection, grilled lamb juicy and flavourful. High quality desserts. Prices more than fair. I will definitely go back.

Ate for lunch on Sunday. We had a very good time. Fast, friendly and good food. The space between the tables is very large. Excellent tagliatelle with meat sauce. Delicious grilled lamb. The homemade biscuits accompanied by Santo wine, I especially liked the small aniseed ones 😋

The restaurant is located on an uphill staircase. Very cosy environment. Food is surprisingly tasty.. there is only 1 toilet in the restaurant. Overall enjoyed the food.

Excellent restaurant with typical dishes of the Casciana tradition. The pizza is also good. But the Chef expresses the best in his desserts, delicious and plated like a true artist....

03/11/2024: We were here two evenings in a row, the food is really excellent, the prices are really very cheap and the quality is high despite the low prices. It's not in the center, but it's about a 10 minute walk from the tavern to the center of Perugia.
