Location un po' defilata rispetto ai ristoranti sulla via principale, entrato nel locale ti trovi di fronte ad una trattoria vecchio stile.
Antipasti al baldo abbondanti, paste a tartufo buone, carbonara inaspettatamente buonissima, così come la torta.
Personale gentile, servizio veloce e alla buona.
Sicuramente in giro per Perugia ci sono piatti più gustosi e ricercati, ma il rapporto quantità/qualità/prezzo è davvero eccellente.

I went for a business dinner and discovered this place thanks to The Fork. Slightly secluded restaurant but in the center of Perugia. It has tables along the street but in a pedestrian and reserved area. You can eat excellent truffle-based dishes.

Il Baldo is a traditional restaurant in a quiet street just off Perugia historical centre and in summer enjoys a quite nice eating out option, with the tables lined in an old, quiet and fresh street.
The menu choice is fairly ample, both for restaurant and pizzeria, and the quality is OK, average without being neither exceptional nor bad: my carbonara was good while the pizza not so much. Price are again fair.
Service is friendly but not entirely efficient.

A welcoming and genuine self-service restaurant, very simple, with a varied offering and very competitive prices, especially during the Festival period where everything costs triple or even quadruple! Friendly and attentive staff.

I think I will hardly forget the pasta I ate in this place. Without words. The quality of the ingredients stands out, as does the friendliness of those who work there and the fantastic, realistic and unique environment. Torta al testo was excellent, but the blueberry first course with gorgonzola fondue was so balanced that with every burst of a blueberry in the mouth, there was truly an explosion of goodness. Creamy, perfect amount. I will definitely return. We couldn't have chosen a better place!
