We had a really good meal at Il Baldo while visiting Perugia. Tucked away on a quiet side street, the outdoor seating had a calm, relaxed vibe—cool shade, cobbled stone, and a welcome break from the bustle.
We shared a sampler plate to start, followed by a flavorful truffle pasta in the Perugia style—earthy, satisfying, and well-executed. The four-cheese pizza was rich and comforting, with a crispy crust and perfectly melted blend of cheeses.
Friendly service, generous portions, and a lovely setting. A solid spot for a relaxed and tasty meal in the heart of Perugia. 🍝🍕🌿

Very nice place hidden between the streets. Pizza was delicious, wine perfect for occasion. I recommed this place if you want to have a nice romantic date.☺️

If you can find it, definitely dine there. The entrance is down a narrow alley that can't accommodate cars. The menu is in Italian, but the staff does their best to help you pick your perfect Italian meal. The pace was perfect, the service was good, and the food was phenomenal. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Absolutely delicious. Tucked away in this tiny medieval town, this family owned restaurant doesn't disappoint.

No sabíamos que el restaurante regular no estaba abierto cuando fuimos a almorzar a principios de marzo, pero nos sorprendió gratamente una experiencia de almuerzo única y barata - una cafetería! Las porciones eran enormes, la comida era muy buena, y los precios eran muy baratos. Las entradas, como una gran chuleta de pollo, eran de solo 5 € , los lados y los postres eran de 3 € . Todo nuestro almuerzo fue de solo 22 € , menos de lo que pagaríamos por 2 bocadillos en EE.UU.
