I went to the Bagatto restaurant on my annual visit to the village of Grazzano to buy agnolotti. I ordered boiled meat and veal with tuna sauce, while my father ordered tartare and a plate of agnolotti. All washed down with a house wine and a hazelnut cake. What can I say? I didn't even have time to order, and within 5 minutes, the dishes arrived. The appetizers were very good, really, a lot. After those, the main courses arrived, which were also very good, including a large selection of boiled meats with various cuts. Nothing to complain about, I'll definitely be back. They also offer dishes with truffles.

It's a restaurant I've known for many years, and over time, it has consistently maintained the highest culinary quality, combined with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The impeccable service is always managed by the same family, and always with the utmost attention to the customer. The only flaw, and a major one, is that you can't leave the restaurant empty-handed.

Everything was excellent! Don’t miss the funghi and truffle season! We went on a weekday dinner and the food + service was out of this world. We had the fried funghi as a starter and pasta with truffle. The bunet and nocciola cake were also amazing. Don’t forget to try their amazing amaro as well!
Il Bagatto Restaurant, located in the main square of Grazzano Badoglio in the province of Asti, presents itself as a unique place from the moment you enter, with meticulous attention to detail in its furnishings. In my personal opinion, the rooms are very beautiful and interesting. The table service is very attentive and discreetly formal, with a very polite and knowledgeable waitress. The menu draws on the traditions of the Asti region. We opted for a mixed house appetizer, which included the inevitable Russian salad (failure to score), a cheese mousse with caramelized pear (really good, excellent), and a raw beef tartare with a light sprinkling of black truffle. The meat was excellent, though bland; the truffle was awful, so it could have been left out. Salt and pepper were also missing to season the meat, and finally, two slices of veal with tuna sauce (failure to score). Overall, an appetizer with its ups and downs, which I personally find a bit too substantial for the 25 euros à la carte asking price. I skip the first course and move on to the second course: boneless rabbit with a side of baked potatoes and carrots. This dish was decidedly good, the rabbit was well-deserved and exquisitely prepared. Special kudos to the chef, but it was underrated at €18. Personally, I would have swapped the prices for the two courses.
The restaurant is very beautiful and well-maintained, including in terms of cleanliness. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend it and will definitely return to try other dishes.

A restaurant with a wonderful entrance divided into two floors, with outdoor dining available.
Excellent welcome and impeccable service. The waitress was extremely helpful. She recommended a custom-made first course that I could eat, having informed her of my allergies. This has never happened to me before. Every time I go out for dinner, I always have to skip the first courses, even though I love them more than the main courses.
Thanks again, the tajarin with celery pesto was exceptional, but so was everything else!!! Congratulations!
