I am not exactly part of the upper middle class and I do not often experience similar environments. I wanted to try to go to this splendid setting, being already used to it because I am from Lake Maggiore and I stopped at Villa Crespi for a tasting of dishes and wines. Canavacciuolo's dishes are simply wonderful, for the eyes and for the palate, I would have liked to personally meet the chef but unfortunately he was not there... too bad

I can say that I have never eaten such perfect dishes before, congratulations everything was perfect

Despite the anticipation and high expectations for a 3 Michelin star restaurant, I have to admit that the experience did not live up to it. Paradoxically, I found the dishes at the Bistrot di Torino decidedly superior both in terms of taste and attention to detail. Villa Crespi is wonderful, but you can't eat the location! A particularly disappointing point was the petit pâtisserie, where the lobster was clearly overcooked, with a burnt result that compromised the quality of the dessert, not tolerable in such a restaurant. Where perfection is expected. Considering the very high price, and the pleasant experience I had at the bistro fifteen days earlier, I would have expected an impeccable experience which, unfortunately, was not the case. If I had to advise someone where to go I would say to opt for the Bistrot, lower price, but higher quality.

Lovely hotel with excellent food and service. Nice walk into town center. Also an easy climb to a nice church and viewing point across the street Will be back!

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare a Villa Crespi la scorsa settimana e posso dire con certezza che l’esperienza è stata straordinaria, esattamente come ci si aspetta da un ristorante di questo livello. Dal momento dell'accoglienza fino al dolce finale, ogni dettaglio è stato curato alla perfezione. Il servizio è stato professionale, attento e mai invadente. Il menu all carta che ho scelto è stato un viaggio attraverso sapori raffinati ed equilibrati, con ingredienti di altissima qualità sapientemente lavorati. Per quanto riguarda la recente terza stella Michelin, devo dire che non ho percepito particolari differenze rispetto alla mia precedente visita quando il ristorante ne aveva due: l’eccellenza era già evidente. Ogni piatto racconta una storia e porta con sé la firma inconfondibile dello chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, con un perfetto equilibrio tra tradizione e innovazione. L’atmosfera di Villa Crespi, con la sua location affascinante sul Lago d'Orta, rende l’esperienza ancora più unica e memorabile. Un ristorante che continua a confermarsi tra i migliori in Italia, dove ogni visita diventa un ricordo indelebile. Assolutamente consigliato!

The experience at Villa Crespi was beyond our already high expectations. We chose the "Itinerary" menu and it was literally a journey of colors and tastes, with various references to the Neapolitan tradition. We really appreciated the surprise of an extra dessert for our anniversary. The super qualified and kind staff. Perhaps the service between one course and another was a little too fast, but you still managed to appreciate each dish. The interior of the villa is a spectacle and it was also possible to leave the car to be able to walk around Orta San Giulio after lunch.

Siamo stati ospiti a Villa Crespi e l’esperienza non ha del tutto soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Il menu che abbiamo scelto è stato impeccabile sia alla vista che al palato. Peccato per il servizio… non all’altezza di altri ristoranti della stessa categoria. Appena ci siamo seduti ci hanno proposto un calice di benvenuto chiedendoci se potevano offrircelo, solo alla fine abbiamo scoperto che ci era stato addebitato nel conto. Per BEN 3 volte abbiamo chiesto se potevamo avere la carta dei vini ma purtroppo non è MAI arrivata. Abbiamo preso due calici, il primo concordato mentre il secondo è stato servito senza che fosse stato scelto. La location, sicuramente molto bella a livello di struttura ma risulta poco curata negli spazi esterni. Quando stavamo uscendo con la macchina siamo dovuti scendere per aprire manualmente il cancello. Ultima nota, in tutte le precedenti esperienze non ci è mai capitato di non incontrare personalmente lo Chef. Peccato…
