Ristorante hotel Lo Scoiattolo In Pralormo

Very nice place Welcoming and very kind staff

I wanted to give it 4 stars, but I can't. After 2 weeks traveling from Madrid to Torino by bike and train, I was looking forward to spend some quiet days in the country side, listening to the birds and chilling. When I found this hotel, I was expecting to meet some fellow bicycle lovers, exchange experiences and maybe watch the Giro d'Italia. After all, this hotel shows up as a bicycle hotel. Instead, it felt more like a road side motel, the building being surrounded by a parking lot, and next to a busy, noisy road. That was my illusion and none of their fault. However, it was the first bike hotel where there was a charge to park your bike (8 euros!). That is a first! The restaurant was highly recommended, and it's actually quite good. However, breakfast was a tremendous disappointment. They wouldn't even serve some of the delicious bread they had for dinner and, instead, there was just this industrial dry bread. Finally, I was also expecting some sort of infrastructure to arrive to the hotel without having to ride in a mad italian drivers infested road. Not far, there are plenty of rural paths but all are more than 1km away. A positive notion to the beautiful garden which would be a great spot to chill were it not for all the noise coming from the road.

I spent two weeks at the hotel in question. Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect service. Clean and very welcoming rooms. The owner and the guys at the reception were very nice. Excellent restaurant food. I haven't tried the pizza, but the pizza chef is nice!

I was a guest of the facility for the 2025 Christmas lunch. We found an excellent welcome and great professionalism, all accompanied by a truly good lunch. The place is really nice, immersed in the countryside near Pralormo. We had a very pleasant experience. Advised

We spent a weekend at the Lo squirrel hotel thanks to a Smart box given to us. The hotel is located in a strategic position about half an hour's drive from Turin, Alba, Chieri and Cuneo. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the attached Antefora restaurant is very convenient if you don't feel like taking the car to go to dinner. The staff is very helpful and kind. I have to say that we had a very good time.
