Ristorante Hotel Cristallo In Castelrotto

My husband and I stayed 10 nights in this property and had a great time. The family is certainly welcoming and the staff very kind. The food is good. It takes 5 minutes to go to the village and the buses 🚌 (free) connect you to all the nearest places for walks and excursions. So the location of the hotel is very convenient. We recommend it

Castelrotto is worth a trip 👍🙃The place is very clean and offers many opportunities for relaxation. We would especially like to thank the staff at Cristallo Hotel. We spent 8 days there and nothing was missing. The breakfast is hard to beat, there is really nothing missing. If you want, you can book a 4-course menu every evening. A big compliment to the chef. All very tasty and lovingly prepared, hats off 👍🍀. A special thank you also to the boss❤️, she really has a heart for her guests. But we would also like to say a personal thank you to Mr. Ettore Peralta. He always has a smile on his face and is perfect for this job 👏👏👏🍀❤️. Everything just fits. Positive experience due to the kindness and courtesy of the staff, much above average

Well maintained and clean facility, the room and bathroom are quite large, with fridge and water (for a fee). There is no kettle but if you want, there is a bar next to reception open until late. There is no air conditioning and we had to sleep with the window open due to the heat, despite the rainy weather. The property also has a bistro restaurant, which offers a varied and good quality menu, with generous portions. On the ground floor there is a wellness area with hydromassage pool, sauna, Turkish bath, showers and IR-therapy cabin (4pm-7pm). They also provide free bus tickets (Castelrotto is a 20 minute walk away, with a pavement route), apart from the one that goes up to the Alpe di Siusi. I'm sorry to only give 3 stars to the service, but unfortunately, although I specified that I had significant intolerances, they were only able to partially meet the requests, unfortunately making me feel at fault ("you can see on the menu if there is something that suits you , otherwise there are several restaurants in the village", I ask if they can make me lactose-free scrambled eggs - therefore plain eggs - and the lady replies with a dry "NO, there are soft-boiled eggs"). Luckily I always bring something with me because I know that many are not yet equipped (gluten and lactose intolerance) but from experience I can say that many facilities in Italy are decidedly more welcoming and attentive to customer needs. It can be improved but it is still recommended also due to its proximity to the Dolomites.

The structure is really beautiful, large room with bathroom and a balcony. Breakfast and dinner were really excellent, I had a really good time with all the service staff, competent and friendly professionals, I highly recommend it.

Really welcoming staff! The rooms were also comfortable and a good size. We loved the dinner, the food was really good and the tiramisu one of the best we had in Italy! A short walk you can see a great view of Alpe di Siusi. short drive to town and Alpe di Siusi
