Excellent food at very reasonable prices (the delicious Florentine steak cost €4.50 per 100g) in a stunning setting (we ate outside in the historic square), with attentive, helpful, and pampered staff. Highly recommended: the location, Florentine steak, and local wine. I recommend booking.

Small town and a nice little place, I recommend it, it's worth going there

We found this restaurant by chance when we arrived in Rapolano. We ordered appetizers and a first course (pici all'aglione) with two glasses of red wine. The pici were delicious! The service was quick and friendly, and the price was €50. I highly recommend it.

We had dinner in this delightful restaurant on our way back from the spa. The food was delicious and plentiful. I recommend the pici with Tuscan ragù and a lovely, very tender Florentine steak. The restaurant owners were welcoming and kind. We will gladly return when we come to those parts. Oh, I forgot about the honest prices. Thanks.

We ate there twice, and because the first time was so great, we went back a second time. We sat outside once and inside once. We ordered various pasta dishes, pizzas, appetizers, and the Bistecca Fiorentina, and we were very satisfied with everything. Even having our very large dog with us wasn't a problem. The service was very good and attentive from all the servers. The language barrier wasn't a problem at all. We highly recommend this restaurant.

È la prima volta che visitavamo Rapolano quindi la nostra scelta si è basata su la posizione del locale (piazzetta molto carina) il menù esposto ed il fatto che potevamo andarci a piedi. Il locale è carino ed accogliente, il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile. Il menù comprende antipasti, primi, secondi e (perdonatemi se dirò delle imprecisioni) una pagina di frittini come quello preso come antipasto dalla mia compagna, una pastella leggera e non unta ripiena nel suo caso di mozzarella e fiori di zucca. Io come antipasto ho scelto un carpaccio su letto di rucola e sebbene la quantità di carne fosse più che abbondante per un antipasto e di ottima qualità, ho trovato singolare che non fosse minimamente condita, di solito qualche goccia d’olio e/o aceto balsamico ci sta al di la del fatto che uno possa condirsela da solo. Mio figlio ha invece mangiato i pici al ragù che non dico fossero cattivi ma niente di speciale sia per il ragù poco saporito che per i pici con un leggero retrogusto di “legno” (scusate ma non so in che altro modo descriverlo) Come secondo abbiamo preso due cose simili, spiedino di carne mista arrosto e coniglio arrosto che erano anche i meno cari in menù (15 euro); il primo l’ho trovato molto normale, il secondo poco saporito tanto che sembrava quasi lessato ma un pezzo internamente ho riscontrato che non era ben cotto infatti era rosato. Una bottiglia di Bolgheri e due amari hanno fatto sì che il conto fosse 105 euro che, secondo me, non è correttissimo per la qualità del cibo o meglio per la sua “valorizzazione”

Avevo scritto una bella recensione di questo ristorante di rapolano qualche anno fa. Tornati oggi, sono rimasto sfavorevolmente colpito dal livello della cucina diventata poco curata per preparazione e qualità.
