Ristorante Hieracon In Carloforte

We stayed 2 nights in this establishment and we occupied a recently renovated room in the small building connected to the main building. We did not stay long enough to judge the quality of the staff, but the hotel is well placed, opening onto the marina, close to the center of Carloforte. The main building has a lot of charm and the garden at the back of the building is very well maintained. Nothing to report regarding the cleanliness of the room: the bathroom is functional with a cabin shower. The breakfast is ok, nothing more. A recommendation for having visited one: avoid the rooms at the back of the main building, without windows and very poorly lit.

Hotel from the early 70s, little or nothing renovated and poorly maintained... The entrance mat is worn beyond belief. Room on floor 3 (it would be 2) without a window and obviously no one warned me, there is only a velux on the roof. Sad decor. Decent breakfast, I ask for two fried eggs, impossible. Price 192 euros for one night at the end of August, definitely too high for the sad room assigned to me. Wifi does not exist on the upper floors. The feeling is of worn-out and indifferent management. I wouldn't go back.
