Wonderful Sunday lunch experience.
Essential and elegant location, exceptional food and truly excellent service.
Warmly recommended by a food blogger friend, a must try!
We had a large portion of soba, fried chicken and potato salad and eel. I would particularly recommend the soba and the eel, because they immediately took us back to Japan, a country we love.
The price is absolutely excellent, so much so that I kept looking at the receipt while I was paying to look for a dish that, for sure, had been forgotten on the list. But no, it's simply excellent and with an above average quality-price ratio!
We will definitely be back for the sukiyaki.
Compliments!

The best non-sushi Japanese restaurant in Milan? Probably yes. Traditional Japanese cuisine with innovative combinations, sinuous cuts of fish, the perfect dinner, also in terms of quantity. Shyness is also entirely Japanese. A place of rare elegance that eschews Instagrammer Milaneseness.

I had dinner with my wife to celebrate our anniversary (early October, important because many ingredients used are seasonal). Everything perfect! We were lucky enough to have the restaurant all to ourselves and chef Hazama-sama offered us an impeccable welcome and service, not only explaining the dishes and his idea of cooking but also generally answering all our questions.
The dishes are all incredible, and the combination of Japanese techniques with local ingredients is truly incredible, and in my opinion makes Japanese cuisine accessible even to those who are not used to its slightly particular flavours.
The accompanying sake is highly recommended: ask the chef for advice on the choice

As a friend of the Japanese cuisine, I did a reservation for the Kaseiki tasting menu, during my weekend in Milan!
The hours in the Hazama were quite an experience! Not only were the courses exemplary, the whole time was an experience. The restaurant got only a few tables and everything on it was perfectly arranged and sorted out. The same goes for the presentation of the dishes and for the service as a whole. Ever present, never loud or frantic! This was in total a complete contrast to the city outside, you were in a different world, to be honest! So, if you like real japanese dishes and japanese traditions , this is definetely your restaurant...

Authentic Japanese culinary and cultural experience. We ate at lunch with a three-course tasting menu: it was a delicious immersion in the Japanese culinary tradition. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, starting from the original Japanese crockery
