we stopped by chance at the Grotto di Sant'Anna on our way back from the Vigezzo valley and what a lovely surprise! the setting is beautiful, right above the Sant'Anna ravine, the food is excellent and the cost is honest. Friendly service and just a little slow. An experience to repeat.

Nous avions réservé (indispensable) pour dîner là. L'accueil est très agréable. Le service efficace et sans chichis. Pour ce qui est dans l'assiette, tout était parfait d' l'amuse bouche aux mignardises. La sommelière nous a bien conseillés. A recommander

A really super nice place. Great, appealing atmosphere. If you come with two people, we recommend the small tables at the back, directly above the gorge. The dishes are first class and made from top ingredients. I have rarely eaten such good Fassano tartare. The braised pork ribs were butter tender and very tasty. All dishes are prepared «cooking picture book». They are not cheap but definitely justified for this type of cuisine. Finally, first-class raw products are also processed. By the way, the wine prices are also very fair. The attentiveness of the waitress certainly still has room for improvement. It shouldn't be the case that you are left sitting for 25 minutes after the main course and not asked for coffee or dessert. I've read the bad reviews here about the kitchen. I can't understand this. I think these people just don't understand this cuisine. Well... If you're looking for cheap, simple 0/8/15 tourist cuisine, it's probably better to look around the lake promenade. With its concept, Santa Anna wants to stand out from the typical tourist kitchens, which there are hundreds of here. It succeeds.

We had a great time on the very pretty terrace. The food was very good and the dishes well presented. The lady who served us was one of those you would want to have as a good friend.

Definitely one of the best, if not the best restaurant within 50km! Exceptional location directly on a wild gorge. Classic, rustic grotto with excellent, very creative cuisine that has nothing to do with the usual Italian dishes. Large, good wine list and attentive, warm service. Of course a little more expensive than the usual Ristorante (Swiss level), but definitely worth every euro!

Beautiful ! My favorite spot here at Lago Maggiore. Amazing presentation of good! Small menu but superb selection and quality!
