I have been to this Greek restaurant in the heart of Trastevere twice and it really surprised me. Everything is prepared with care, the quality is very high and every dish I tasted (more than half the menu, there were many of us) was a discovery: authentic, rich, balanced flavors. The restaurant is of Cretan origin, so there are also typical Cretan dishes that are difficult to find elsewhere. The sauces are all homemade, very good, you can taste the difference.
Among the dishes I recommend: the mix of sauces to share, perfect if you are with more than one person; the baked feta with honey, truly delicious; the meat moussaka, which I found amazing; and my absolute favorite, the lamb rack, a real house specialty.
Attentive and fast service, good wine list with Greek labels. The only note is that the prices are a little above average and the portions are not huge: to leave full it is better to take at least two courses each. A full dinner is about 30 € per person, but it's worth it. For me it was the best Greek restaurant I've ever eaten at. I will definitely go back.

Akropolis always a sure thing! Good food, authentic flavors and really kind staff, attentive but not intrusive. I don't even remember how many times I've been there, but one thing is for sure, I've never sent a dish back or had any problems. Greek cuisine with Cretan specialties, the best!

The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff, starting with the owner, Andonis (a Cypriot who has lived in Italy for many years), is kind, attentive and fast. To order we accepted Andonis' suggestions: many small dishes, many meats, in serving dishes from which we helped ourselves. Many unusual specialties here in Italy; the flavors are delicious, the same ones I have tasted in Greek restaurants, not touristy, where local friends took me on my many trips to Greece (for years I had an Athenian partner). At the end Andonis offered us a fabulous zipuro (a grape marc distillate). I learned that the reason for those flavors is due to the Greek origin of several ingredients.

The best dolmades I've ever eaten! But also everything else, from olives to desserts. I will gladly return also because it is located in a quiet area of Trastevere. Very friendly staff.

The place is on two floors and the lower floor really has the atmosphere of a typical tavern. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the service was surprisingly fast.
We ordered a portion of fava beans, a souvlaki, lamb skewers and pita. The fava beans seemed a bit dry and the souvlaki was quite greasy.
On the other hand, the meat was a real surprise: excellent quality and cooked to perfection, we loved it!
The prices are medium-low, a plus for the tavern, especially considering it is located in Rome and in a rather expensive area.
Overall, for us it is a 3.8 out of 5: satisfactory experience, shame about the appetizers that disappointed us a bit.

Locale molto accogliente e personale molto gentile e professionale. Ottimi gli antipasti e i piatti di carne, il menù offre una scelta più vasta rispetto a quello classico dei ristoranti greci e a prezzi abbordabili. Forse una varietà ancora maggiore non guasterebbe, così come la possibilità di degustare qualche vino in più al calice. Nel complesso un buon ristorante
