For the price it was not the best. My main course had a langoustine with less meat in than a chicken's toe! They give you very few vegetables even when you order them as a side dish.

I highly recommend everyone to go and enjoy the delicious dishes prepared with passion and expertise. We are tourists, and we were warmly welcomed! Perfect! Many thanks to the server who spoke French and was very attentive. MUST-SEE!

La qualità del cibo e le sue preparazioni fanno di questo ristorante uno dei migliori della Toscana. A ciò si aggiunga la professionalità e l’esperienza di Brunello e Alessio, i proprietari che rendono, mi ripeto, il Gourmet, uno dei punti di riferimento per chi apprezza (e soprattutto) capisce la qualità.

02/11/2025: I stayed at the Porta Franca refuge for lunch and dinner, staying in a shared room! What can I say? A wonderful experience, made even more so by the generous and kind welcome we received from the CAI volunteers! They were attentive and thoughtful, and I must say, very friendly! Honorable mention goes to Mrs. Cinzia and the other chef (forgive me, I don't remember her name) who delighted us with delicious dishes! Thanks also to our contact Alessandro, especially for the strudel he gave me for the return trip! Thank you so much!
07/10/2025: A lovely place to stop for a bite to eat or grab something to eat directly at the refuge. The food is spectacular and delicious.

12/07/2025: The highest quality, carefully selected, and the unmistakably Tuscan warmth and friendliness! The schiacciate with ham and raw ham are exceptional! The bakery I wish I had near my house!
