I'm not used to being so generous with my reviews, but "Ortica" is the restaurant of my dreams: kind and attentive staff, a cutting-edge chef, excellent local ingredients, and a location with a fairytale view. Happy and satisfied, I'll definitely be back soon, even to celebrate my events.

Beautiful location on the heights of Pieve Alta which, especially during the summer and the longer days, offers a wonderful view. The atmosphere is refined and well-kept, with dedicated but not intrusive service. The cuisine is very satisfying, with the right mix of simple ingredients and high-level, innovative execution techniques. There is a lovely atmosphere, and you eat and drink well. Highly recommended!

19/01/2026: We tried several types of focaccia — spinach with cheese and focaccia with onions — and we absolutely loved them. The flavors were amazing, fresh, and truly memorable. The service was excellent: very friendly and attentive. Everything felt authentic, and the taste was simply outstanding. We would highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Genoa. A must-try spot if you want to experience real local food!
18/12/2025: I took a box with too good to go, the owner was very kind and the food was very good and plentiful. If I ever come to Genoa I will gladly stop by. Recommended.
