Local taste! Numana number one!

I had to take some people to lunch and with conviction I chose this restaurant since it had never disappointed me in the past. Something has changed unfortunately, as we sat down and ordered they brought us a fish polenta that had just come out of the fridge. I had asked if the appetizers were abundant since there were 4 of us, the waiter advised us to take 2 complete appetizers and divide them calmly. I trusted him and they brought us 3 pieces of each type, maybe I was wrong not to ask for the fourth piece for a fee so we could all taste everything. The scampi were dry and half cleaned (you could clearly see the rest of the inside). Too bad for me it was the number one in the area.

Tranquillo ristorante di fronte al porto di Numana. Menù di pesce con poche proposte ma interessanti. Antipasto di mare buono, pasta ripiena ai crostacei ottima. Ottima la selezione dei vini. Se c’è un po’ di gente va in crisi il servizio che rallenta parecchio. Per una bottiglia d’acqua fai prima ad andare al bar accanto. Prezzi non popolari.

Giulia Mare is a good restaurant, the location is not very large but the spaces are well managed and therefore do not feel suffocating, the furniture is a little dated and the toilet is located outside the dining room, shared with the bar which is of the same property. What to eat at Giulia Mare? The appetizers and first courses! I recommend the house starter which includes a delicious series of generously refined dishes ranging from raw to hot, prawns, prawns, corn on the cob, cuttlefish and the inevitable fried food, which however I found to be a little full of oil, I forgot something... yes! There was more, but I don't remember! If I'm already pretty full with the starter, with the first course, an egg tagliolini with scampi, creamy and delicate, I've reached the final stages because the portions are super generous! At Giulia Mare I found a decent local wine shop with very affordable prices. The service was precise and polite, and never 'attached', the owner Vincenzo is a character who wins you over at first glance, so to speak, the best business card!
