During my visit to the restaurant, I had a very unpleasant experience with a waiter. His behavior was strange and unprofessional. He laughed for no reason, seemed distracted, and didn't behave appropriately toward customers. The service was disorganized, and I felt uncomfortable throughout my stay. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a restaurant and completely ruins the customer experience.

A place stuck in the '80s (if you're lucky) and definitely in need of renovation and maintenance. It's located near the station, with all that that entails. However, we ate very well; the specialty is stockfish, which is exceptional.

Excellent experience, especially with the stockfish, but also with the rest of the menu. Every time we're in Ancona, we dine there, either with the stockfish main course or with the stockfish first and second courses. The staff is also great. Excellent. Worth a try.

A wonderful family-run trattoria with excellent, plentiful cuisine and warm service that makes you feel at home, even if it's your first time there. A special mention goes to the owner, who is very kind and friendly. Recommended if you want to enjoy excellent stockfish and good wine!

The takeaway Chitarrina allo Scoglio was fantastic (unfortunately I hadn't timed my train correctly), but the staff was wonderful, and 3, 2, 1... the box was ready to go! A historic, welcoming place full of history. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: We went for dinner as a family, and I have to say that, with the staff being so courteous and smiling, the food couldn't have been better. The pizza has a truly delicate dough. I can say that because otherwise, I wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing. It was very easy to digest. We'll definitely be back. We were very pleased.
