They make Ancona-style stockfish which alone is worth a meal and the experience... I liked it even if my portion was a little full of oil

I went for dinner and had a great time with expired chicory and rotten stockfish, an unforgettable experience and remember you can't find a restaurant like this everywhere so between rook and bishop when in doubt I put the zocca in the toaster

We made a reservation for dinner on Saturday. WITHOUT WORDS. The place already speaks for itself, the clock stopped in the 1950s, with wooden paneling where photos and plaques hang, wooden tables and chairs, cold lights and sharply dressed waiters. But let's get to the menu: absolutely worth trying is the house starter, all based on fish and when we went there was steamed mantis shrimp (hardly anyone makes them, a gem), cooked prawns (clean and well cooked), soup of clams, pieces of porchetta (mixture of ragusa and other hermit crabs, the obligatory slipper as well as a finger sucker) anchovies with scaldito and octopus and rocket salad (perfectly cooked!). As the main course, even if the starter had already left me dreaming, the SPAZIALE Ancona style stockfish (don't be fooled by the strong smell as soon as the dish arrives at the table, the taste is truly sinless). Among the desserts of the day there was even an apple tart, I tried it and it was very good, but I chose the classic tiramisu assembled on the spot, what more can I say. All this including water and house wine, some coffee and a couple of bitters, 37.3 euros per person (there were 9 of us). To say that I will return is an understatement.

I was pleasantly surprised by Gino! The decor is a throwback to the 80s, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Even though they had prepared us for a wait, we were served immediately. The fish first courses were exceptional, in particular the Ancona-style paccheri with stockfish. Generous portions and fair price. A great experience!

Di fronte all’uscita della stazione di Ancona si trova questo storico ristorante famoso, soprattutto, per il suo stoccafisso.
Ambiente d’epoca; servizio stanco, di chi me ha viste tante e aspetta solo la pensione; menù tradizionale. Chitarrine ai frutti di mare senza mordente, contorno appena scongelato.
Almeno i prezzi sono onesti: 20€ per un primo, contorno, calice di vino e caffè.
Quando si dice: le recensioni in fondo, in fondo, dicono il vero

Uno dei migliori locali di Ancona, dove si mangia un ottimo stoccafisso. Locale tipico degli anni 80,. Situato vicino alla stazione ferroviaria composi di trovare i parcheggi nella zona.
