Great location at the harbor. Nice service. Delicious cappuccino. Clean toilets.

Very nice location right on the harbor with lots of restaurants within walking distance, but still relatively quiet by Lake Garda standards! Very friendly service with e.g. T. German-speaking staff! Great start to the day with breakfast on the balcony over the harbor!

Very clean hotel. The very friendly ladies at reception all speak perfect German. Thank you for your very kind attention. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. Thank you for the pleasant care. The rooms have a Venetian charm but everything is very clean. Beds very comfortable!!! We'd love to come back.

This time we were only present as guests of the bar and, like our last visit to the hotel, we were delighted to be here again. The Gardesana has flair and, with its location right on the small harbor, a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, after our first drink we realized that the female waiter seemed unfriendly and unmotivated. What else we knew differently. After we ordered the food, there was suddenly a loud bang and part of the facade suddenly fell onto the screen directly above us. After a closer look, we realized it was a supporting component of a balcony that was 2 floors above us. If the umbrella hadn't caught the 5-6 kilo component, it would probably have been my last visit to Gardesana. After I picked up the piece that was right next to me, I was just stared at in horror and a few minutes later the same waitress asked me to move. This, too, was not communicated to us in a friendly manner. Otherwise no further comment was made about the incident, whereupon I paid with the same waitress. After another visit that same evening, the waitress served us again. Annoyed, she took the last order and asked us in another unfriendly tone to please pay now. After paying, we were brought an Aperol Spritz instead of a specialist and when we served it, she realized that the order was wrong. However, it was no longer possible to change the drink because the bar was already closed. We felt very uncomfortable on this visit and hope for better circumstances on the next visit. Despite this, I am glad that nothing happened to me in this frightening incident. I don't like writing bad reviews, but it's important to me to share this. Above all, so that this doesn't happen to any other guest.

The hotel facilities were nice and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was simply fantastic. The city is beautiful and not overcrowded.

We were able to enjoy almost a week of vacation at the Albergo Gardesana and can only report positive things. A great hotel with character, history and flair right on the small harbor of Torri del Bonaco. We had a balcony room with a wonderful view over the harbor and the lake. In addition, the attentive and courteous service, whether at the reception, in the bar area/terrace or during the extensive breakfast on the wonderful balcony. We felt very comfortable.

Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda...Always worth a visit...👍

I'm advised by the owner that the balcony restaurant is now only used for breakfast and is closed for lunch and dinner. The ground floor restaurant is open.
