Warm welcome, young management, but it doesn't seem so. We had a pleasant chat with the chef, we'll definitely be back and recommend the osteria for good food in good company. Good wine list and reasonable prices. Vasco's songs, which are highly regarded, play in the background.

The restaurant recently changed ownership, and I must say it's improved, taking on a more casual and youthful feel: in fact, the name has changed from restaurant to bistro. However, the high quality of the dishes has remained the same: excellent portions, friendly and helpful staff, and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Definitely worth a try!

This traditional tavern in the center of Alessandria was taken over eight months ago by two young people who know their job very well: cooking excellent dishes and welcoming customers with a warm smile and a friendly manner. The young woman at the entrance let us choose a table; there were two of us and there were several free ones. She brought us water, bread, homemade breadsticks, and a delicious meatball with paprika. I was impressed by the table setting. Cotton tablecloth, silver cutlery, elegant glasses, and, being a detail-oriented person, I really like the wooden beamed ceiling. The place is quite small, but the tables are well-spaced, allowing for good conversation, perfectly in keeping with the ambiance. Little by little, it fills up, and all the tables are taken. The service is very attentive; the young woman asks us, each time we collect our dishes, if we liked what we ate; she is attentive and very helpful. The food is truly delicious; we opted for a trio of appetizers: minced meat, Russian salad, and veal with tuna sauce. Then there were Piedmontese meat ravioli and veal escalope with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The desserts are also very good: tiramisu and the typical Piedmontese dessert that resembles a pudding with amaretti biscuits. At the end of the meal, the chef stopped by to ask us if we were satisfied with the food. He explained that they changed management a few months ago, but they put all their effort and expertise into satisfying their customers. And they succeed very well. And finally, the prices are absolutely average; in fact, I'm surprised that such delicious dishes are so cheap compared to many other places.

On a relaxing evening with friends, I booked at this restaurant and I must say I was very satisfied. The place is very welcoming, beautiful and clean, and there is a great atmosphere. The staff is young and very professional, the food is good and attention to detail is top notch, the chef is attentive to customer satisfaction, very professional. And honestly, it's not easy to find chefs who pay such special attention to their guests. Recommended. I'll definitely be back as soon as I have the chance.

Excellent wines of the highest quality and price.
Bunet with the Piedmontese recipe is excellent; the tongue remains very tender when cooked. Risotto is top notch.
