What a fantastic place for a meal. The service was excellent, went above and beyond to accommodate our large group and even served us beyond the opening hours. The food was nothing short of stunning and I highly recommend a visit when you are in the area. The lunch 2 course menu for €15 was great value for money.

Good evening everyone. After a drive along the western Gardesana (SS45 bis) and following the Strada della Forra and the SP38, I had lunch at Trattoria Fornico. The set menu included two first courses (penne all'arrabbiata), two second courses (pork shank with fries and roast chicken leg with fries), half a liter of wine, water, and coffee for a total of €30.00. I enjoyed the meal, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

A restaurant recommended to us by our landlady. A small restaurant in a narrow street in Fornico. We ate on the terrace without a reservation. The staff was friendly. The meal was a little noisy at the beginning due to a table of people having aperitifs, but conversation was not impossible. A prime rib steak was advertised for 100g (€6 per 100g), but the piece served was relatively large, around 700g. It would have been nice to specify that the meal was generous for one person. The final bill was therefore steep. However, the quantity and quality of meat are worth the price, even though it was too generous. If we were focusing on the meat, I would have given it 5 stars because it was truly excellent, but the side dish lacked flavor and effort. There are 3 types of side dishes that are extra for the main course, which is important to note. The fries are very good. Grilled vegetables in very small quantities and with no real effort to impart a distinctive flavor... Tomatoes and onions that are nothing more than a raw tomato and a piece of onion without any preparation. I find that for an extra side dish, it's clearly insufficient, and I expect better from a restaurant. That's why the overall rating is 3 stars. If I were to return, I would, but I would adjust the menu with full knowledge of the facts.

Traditional cuisine with ancient recipes. Worth it!

A delicious trattoria with a modern ambiance. They also offer special regional dishes, such as donkey steak. Highly recommended!

Good business menu gnocchi and scallops with chips €15 with water and wine, the only minor thing is that we waited a long time to get the first and second courses. However when I'm in the area I'll still come in thanks

Un bellissimo posto vista lago. Ottima cucina casalina , ottimo servizio veloci e molto bravi. Complimenti a tutti. Da rifare consiglio di venire almeno una volta.
