Given that it was lunchtime and the heat was unbearable, we asked to have lunch inside. We were immediately satisfied with the dishes we chose, very good and reasonably priced. The only complaint I feel like making regarding the fried foods that were not very hot is that the mozzarella in the supplì was completely cold... what a shame.

A place away from the hustle and bustle and bad food, where you can spend a different evening in the company of professional, kind, and helpful staff, at the Fondaco you can find a family atmosphere and top-quality food, without having to take out a bank loan, like most places where you can eat such delicacies.
A wide selection of high-quality wines at truly affordable prices. For those new to the place, I recommend trying the truffle, truly top-notch.

Great experience and dinner in the center of Narni during the Corsa all'Anello festival, a renovated and newly managed restaurant (this is what the very nice guys explained to us), we ate truffle for two (very good scrambled and sliced that melted in the mouth) and drank a red Montefalco on the advice. Excellent prices for how we ate, we will return on other occasions... recommended!

We happened upon Osteria del Fondaco by chance, without a reservation, during a visit to Narni. The place immediately struck us with its essential and refined style, welcoming in its simplicity.
We started with Il Cartoccio, perfect for sharing: a rich and tasty mix with Umbrian supplì, arancini (one speck and radicchio, the other cacio e pepe), eggplant meatballs and stuffed courgette flower. Generous portions and authentic flavours.
Among the first courses, the tortelli stuffed with Chianina beef with saffron cream (requested without truffle) were delicate but decisive, a perfect balance.
For the second course, the eggplant and courgette tower parmigiana with burrata and basil chlorophyll was a very pleasant surprise, also ideal for those looking for vegetarian options.
We ended in style with a taste of tiramisu and a seasonal fruit platter with dark chocolate ganache: freshness and deliciousness in one dish.
Everything was really excellent. A place to come back to.

HAS CHANGED MANAGEMENT!!! I have to say that the reviews I had read didn't encourage me to enter... but the place is very nice, it seemed nice and with people who were happy... I did well!!! we had a great time and ate excellently... go there, it's worth it, I'll definitely come back... GOOD GUYS
