A truly beautiful restaurant where we ate splendidly, traditional local cuisine, with particular attention to presentation and expertly prepared ingredients. The service was attentive, courteous, and professional. If you're in Sansepolcro, it's definitely worth considering for a meal. We ate outside, but the interior dining rooms take you back in time. Well done, well done. Excellent value for money.

Today my husband Giovanni and I had lunch at this restaurant, a more than positive experience. The staff is kind and helpful, and we met the owner and chef Alessia Uccellini in person, whom we had already seen on the GEO e GEO programme on Rai Tre.

A quick stop in Sansepolcro on the way back from vacation was enough to appreciate this lovely restaurant, with a light meal.
Right in the center, the setting is pleasant, refined yet simple, and the atmosphere is relaxing. You feel right at home.
The cuisine? A dive into Tuscan tradition, revisited with personality but without overdoing it.
I enjoyed a "panzanella" (a very simple dish, presented with originality) and gnocchi with truffles. Both courses allowed me to appreciate the quality of the ingredients.
The wine list is impressive.
Reasonable prices.
All-female! Positive, worth a visit.

Let me start by saying that my experience is limited to the restaurant... we were here (two of us) on a Thursday in late August, without a reservation. We were immediately greeted with great courtesy, the same courtesy we found throughout the staff (who found them rude... are we sure they've been here?).
The menu is relatively limited (half a dozen first courses, about ten second courses, and the same number of appetizers), but everything we tried was beyond delicious! Strangozzi, "Fiodalisi," meat, appetizers (various crostini, all perfectly savory and balanced).
In short, we love to travel and have toured much of Italy, and this is one of the places we would gladly return to.
