A very heart-felt meal within the most local and authentic atmostphere for slow food. The menu ingredients vary according to the season. As we were sat down at the table they brought us a small glass of spritz and bread (as complimentary). We were 2 and shared the appertizer of mixed speck, cream cheese, lots of seasonal veggie, pear cuts and walnuts. Then each took a main dish, one ravioli with shrimp and one pasta with squid and tomato sauce, which means we left the restaurant with a full happy belly cuz the food was great. Definitely would come back again when I have the chance to. Please be mindful that like all other restaurants in Italy, there is a dine-in charge (coperto) per person. Thanks for the good food.

We had the best food in Palermo in Ferro. This is a small little restaurant with excellent food options. The taste is very unique that we never tasted before. If you’re sick of the boring tourist food, this is a great place.

very nice environment, as soon as we arrived they immediately served us an unexpected but much appreciated spritz and fresh bread. we ordered starters, first courses and dessert, all excellent and with very balanced flavours. very positive experience, we will definitely be back.

Very bland experience. Other reviews were good so I tried it. The grilled octopus was cooked reasonably well but served on some kind of bland mush that did nothing to enhance the octopus. The tuna dish was a secondi that likewise had no spirit. The wait staff was equally lacking in flavor and just dumped your plate and left without any enthusiasm. Don’t go here, there are better places.

A most visit in Palermo!
Here you are greeted by a sweet couple and a welcome drink.
The food is authentic and inspiring. I would have loved to stay another 3 hours!
