We stopped for an aperitif. The super-kind owner seated us in the gorgeous cellar where he was preparing the aperitif even though we didn't have a reservation. We were welcomed like family. The wine and products were excellent. Highly recommended, and we recommend making a reservation for the aperitif, as without it, it might not be possible. Thank you

We had lunch for a birthday at Cantina Ferrara. It's a very nice, clean, and well-organized family-run restaurant. The service was quick, and the staff were kind and attentive. The menu included hot and cold appetizers, a first course, and a mixed roast with side dishes. Everything was delicious and high-quality! I've been to this restaurant several times, and its special feature is the option to eat in the cellar. With a dinner buffet (infinite) and a variety of exceptional wines, I highly recommend it! Dinner in the cellar, in particular, is an experience you absolutely must have!

Excellent food, place could be improved. The only downside is the owner who tries to be a good guy and becomes too friendly, which leads to rudeness.

We stumbled upon the Ferrara Restaurant in Bucchianico by pure chance and were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's charm and, of course, the quality of its strictly Abruzzese food. The manager, who was also very friendly and welcoming, recommended we try the tasting menu in the historic rooms, where we sampled the fantastic products of Abruzzo: delicious cheeses unknown to us and cured meats that melted in our mouths because they were so authentic. I particularly enjoyed the capocollo, the local prosciutto, the sausages, and the Abruzzese soppressata. The cheeses were excellent, as was the focaccia with lard and pork. We also enjoyed a type of parmesan made with buffalo milk. We didn't go any further because we were in a craving for food. The wine from the charming and well-stocked cellar was excellent. A wonderful surprise. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely worth a try.

Ristorante Pizzeria La Campagnola

01/11/2025: Good Southern cuisine begins with spaghetti alla carrettiera... and I'd say we're on target! The swordfish rolls and marinated fish dishes are also excellent. The atmosphere is informal, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is prompt. I recommend it if you want to experience authentic Sicilian cuisine in a traditional restaurant.
