Ristorante Ferrara In Bucchianico

We stumbled upon the Ferrara Restaurant in Bucchianico by pure chance and were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's charm and, of course, the quality of its strictly Abruzzese food. The manager, who was also very friendly and welcoming, recommended we try the tasting menu in the historic rooms, where we sampled the fantastic products of Abruzzo: delicious cheeses unknown to us and cured meats that melted in our mouths because they were so authentic. I particularly enjoyed the capocollo, the local prosciutto, the sausages, and the Abruzzese soppressata. The cheeses were excellent, as was the focaccia with lard and pork. We also enjoyed a type of parmesan made with buffalo milk. We didn't go any further because we were in a craving for food. The wine from the charming and well-stocked cellar was excellent. A wonderful surprise. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely worth a try.

A genuine and true restaurant. Manager Claudio fantastic host. Young Chef Raffaele marries 88 and 83 year olds whose mold has been lost. Amazing food! Don't miss this Abruzzo experience!

Restaurant located in a small town, with a spectacular view of the hills. Hospitality of the highest level, found in all the staff. After a while, you feel... like family. Compliments. Excellent food and excellent wine suggested.
