For a week we had the pleasure of staying in the hotel and having lunch and dinner at the restaurant, both highly recommended!
Spacious and tidy rooms, recently renovated maintaining the original style of the building.
The cleanliness was excellent, as was the comfort of the beds. The staff were courteous and kind.
The restaurant is excellent for both a business lunch and dinner. The dishes are tasty and the variety is wide.

Albergo e ristorante sulla strada principale di Fara Novarese. Accolti dalla proprietaria e indirizzati al maitre di sala per il nostro tavolo prenotato. Domenica a pranzo affollato ma tranquillo. Servizio rapido ed efficiente. Primo:gnocchetti di castagne ai 2 gorgonzola >ottimi; filetto di manzo con funghi porcini>ottimi;tagliata di manzo alle erbe aromatiche> ottimo;dolci: meringata con cioccolata canda > molto buona; bonet> squisito !!!. Scelto per caso in base ad una gita al Castello di Proh. Da provare !

Disappointment. I returned to this restaurant because I have always eaten well with an excellent quality, quantity and price ratio.
Yesterday with my family I chose the "women's day" menu and I was disappointed.
The appetizer, which was a Piedmontese appetizer tasting, consisted of three hot appetizers the size of three mini pastries (one was a mini cannoli with cacio e pepe cream, which had nothing Piedmontese about it) and a slice of veal with tuna sauce.
Then the first course was a bag-type ravioli with a cream, and two slices of rump with potatoes.
At which point we were asked if we wanted anything else, but what to ask for? A la carte menu or seconds of something, you don't know...
Finally, three small portions of dessert.
I gave three stars because the food was still good and the waiters were kind, but the restaurant that I remembered, even with the fixed menu with abundant courses and second courses offered, was not there.
