07/10/2025: The food was very good but we had to wait a very long time for them to give us our food after we ordered, maybe an hour. Also, they never gave us bread, we had to ask for it unlike everyone else. Overall very good food but the service was bad that day
05/10/2025: If you're a food purist, this is not your place; don't come.
This is a restaurant born in the 1980s, a product of those years, when people ate healthy and natural food,
where you didn't have to consult recipes by Artusi or scholars just to sit at the table, and years when cream in sauces and dishes was commonplace.
If you come with an open mind, regardless of your political or social background, and understand that both the food and the decor of the restaurant are part of a bygone world, which can be viewed with open and curious eyes to discover that generation of Italians who, for better or worse, were part of our history, you can come here and perhaps you won't mind.
Fair prices, generous portions and sauces, friendly service, a bit of background noise, but we're not in a library, lots of foreigners... and finally, the beautiful Mary who wanders around the dining room, checking and making sure everything is to your liking...
She's the soul of the place and also the body (and what a body...), moving quickly and decisively throughout the evening, finally waiting for you at the cash register... and you discover that, despite the ads on websites where she appears tough and arrogant, she also has a heart of cream.
