Ristorante Evan's dal 1960 In Cassino

Siamo appena usciti da questo ristorante delizioso! Atmosfera elegante ma al tempo stesso informale e un proprietario ad accoglierti veramente gentile e disponibile. Avevamo chiamato per chiedere se fosse anche attrezzato per il senza glutine ed è stato di parola: la persona celiaca ha mangiato veramente molto bene, con una frittura di verdure fatta appositamente per lei! Il resto della compagnia ha mangiato primi piatti sia di mare che di terra ed erano tutti veramente buoni. Per i due bimbi presenti due cotolette con doratura di corn flakes che hanno spazzolato in pochi minuti. Assolutamente da tenere in considerazione se ci si trova a mangiare a Cassino!

We had dinner at Evan's restaurant and the thing that immediately disturbed me was the smell you could smell once you entered the place. It wasn't a food or freshly cleaned scent, but an honestly unpleasant odor and, once we left, we carried it with us on our clothes and in our hair. The food is not bad, the menu has a nice selection of dishes although, in my opinion and from what we tasted, there is something missing in the preparation that leaves you truly satisfied, among other things the dishes were all lukewarm and not hot. We tasted the risotto, the gnocchi, the tuna and the rabbit and I can say that the second courses were certainly better than the first ones which were a bit bland in flavour. The service however was truly excellent. They welcomed us with a smile and with great kindness, we were served in perfect time and there was a small disappointment about the wine by the glass which was too hot and the waiter immediately accommodated us by changing the glass of wine with a cooler one. Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo diversi anni..di passaggio Avevamo un ottimo ricordo ma il presente ci ha stupito positivamente Abbiamo deciso di optare per il menù degustazione di pesce e con grande sorpresa ci hanno servito tutte le portate diverse per farci assaggiare più piatti. Tutto eccezionale una stella particolare al tonno in panure croccante !! Bravissimi ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo …da non perdere

Really worth it...Fantastic food

A quiet night so not many other diners but it was a tasty treat. The fish starter was a triumph and the risotto was really delicious and good wine alongside

We had lunch in this place asking for vegan options and found the restaurant to be willing to modify/integrate all the necessary dishes. Very serene atmosphere, very clean restaurant and impeccable service, everyone is very kind. Absolutely recommended also for vegetarian/vegan cuisine.

Wonderful experience... and what can I say, a delicious raw ham... I will definitely be back to try other specialties 👏
