Went with relatives from the area... as soon as you walk in, you see a display of fish and meat, and it's already off to a good start. At the table, every course is a storm of taste sensations... lampredotto tortelli will linger in your memory... then the star of the course, the Florentine steak... meat that melts in your mouth, masterfully cooked... even the side dishes are excellent. Desserts that bring you to peace with the world... oh, I haven't even mentioned the appetizers... to say that everything is excellent is an understatement... cured meats, cheeses, crostini... then the polenta with knife-cut ragù... as far as I'm concerned, it's a pleasant surprise. Compliments to the kitchen and the staff... I'll be sure to see you again soon.

Last night I had dinner at this restaurant with friends and I must say that my expectations were far exceeded... the quality of the dishes was excellent with impeccable service. Thank you, thank you, keep it up, I recommend it to everyone and if I have the opportunity to pass by again I will definitely come back to visit you again......

A charming and welcoming meat and seafood restaurant in Calenzano, where you wouldn't expect it. Tables are well-spaced and the background noise is minimal for this type of establishment. The service was friendly and personable, yet very professional in recommending dishes and explaining the ingredients and preparation. A toast with bubbles and a basket of bread and delicious mixed schiacciatine to whet our appetites. We had an appetizer of raw artichokes with a pancetta salad, which was not only delicious but beautifully presented! And then an exceptional Florentine steak, masterfully cooked on the grill! Mixed vegetable and potato sides. A wide selection of wines from the wine shop, from which we chose a Montalcino red. Good value; quality comes at a price, but at least there are places where you can find it. We'll be back to try the fish!

Let me start by saying that I'm a foodie, passionate about cooking and a gourmand, so I have both food and cooking expertise and professional restaurant experience. I must say that this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. The atmosphere is elegant yet refined, the food is traditional and local yet gourmet, the ingredients are top-quality, and the service is excellent, friendly, warm, and professional (special mention goes to our top chef, Gianni). It's definitely worth a visit for those who haven't tried it. I'll be back soon.

28/02/2026: Excellent location halfway between Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo. I wanted to return after eating there a few months ago, having had a good experience. A simple restaurant with a genuine atmosphere. The restaurant is small, and since it's always busy, it can feel a bit cramped, but the typical Tuscan osteria atmosphere makes it pleasant. I recommend making a reservation if you're traveling with a large group (which I did last time, when there were 18 of us). Today, since there were only three of us, we still found a table right away, even without a reservation. On both occasions, I found the food to be of high quality, and the service was attentive and fast. The service was never intended to rush you to get up, but rather to allow just the right amount of time between courses. I appreciated the attention we received when it came to the bill (which, even à la carte, is very fair and offers a remarkable quality/price ratio). I thank them publicly. It will definitely be a go-to place when I return to Florence.
