A sweet and delicious stop in the beautiful village of Bobbio that's good for the soul and the stomach! The kindness and engaging nature of the owner make all the difference. The food is sublime... different flavors, but everything is balanced. I truly recommend this place.

A refined and very welcoming place, with extraordinary dishes, carefully prepared, and with unique and delicious flavor combinations! I enjoyed the turmeric lentil cream soup, as well as the caramelized plum cup. The wine list is worthy of a fine wine bar.

Intimate and quiet atmosphere. Good value for money.

We arrived at this wonderful restaurant somewhat by chance, without a reservation and on a Saturday, and were greeted by the owner in a warm and friendly manner. Luckily, there was a table available in the cozy, intimate rooms, each with just a few tables. The food and wine were superb, Michelin-starred (they really should get one, they deserve it), and the experience was truly special. We will definitely be back.

quando varchi la porta del San Nicola hai come l'impressione di attraversare un portale che ti teletrasporta in un'altra dimensione. fresco, tranquillo e un sottofondo musicale che ti rilassa la mente. La cucina è innovativa ma non estrema, la scelta di vini è valida ed i prezzi non sono congrui ai prodotti offerti. Ovviamente anche il personale contribuisce all'ottimo risultato della fantastica esperienza Un plauso a tutto lo staff

Locale davvero splendido, accogliente, caldo, costituito da salette intime arredate con grande gusto. Cucina curatissima, alta qualità e inventiva ma senza scivolare nell'autocompiacimento. Tra gli antipasti una chicca straordinariamente sfiziosa come le polpettine di mortadella e prosciutto con caprino e crostini; tra i primi ottimi tagliolini al ragù di anatra e parmigiano e dei ravioli di burrata memorabili; tra i secondi difficile dire cosa sia meglio tra i bocconcini di manzo al curry lavorati con altre delizie e la strepitosa coppa caramellata al gutturnio con salsa di prugne; per finire la quenelle di cioccolato fondente con salsa di albicocche e zenzero, semplicemente sublime. Per i vini, trattandosi anche di enoteca, una carta sconfinata con proposte per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche. Infine, prezzi assolutamente onesti rispetto alla qualità delle proposte ed anche alla corretta quantità delle porzioni. Insomma, per concludere, vi alzate da tavola già non vedendo l'ora di poter ritornare...
