Excellent restaurant, film-quality fried cake and excellent cured meats, delicious homemade first courses and good second courses. Very friendly staff.

Sunday lunch with friends and family. Simple but clean and well-kept atmosphere. The appetizers were generous, with excellent cured meats, giardiniera, and torta fritta. The first course portions were also very generous, and the delicate tagliatelle with asparagus and crispy prosciutto deserve a special mention. The second course meat dishes were carefully prepared and of good quality. Personally, I didn't much appreciate the mixed fried fish (not because it wasn't good, but because I wanted to try it and it wasn't to my liking). The homemade desserts were excellent...the tiramisu was a real hit! Excellent value. Last but not least...thanks to the friendly staff, the courtesy of Mrs. Nicoletta, and the helpfulness (and patience!) of Chef Persegani, who made sure everyone smiled and took photos! We'll be back soon, well done!

Beautiful, characteristic restaurant on the banks of the Po, a menu with a varied but not excessive choice which sometimes comes at the expense of the quality or speed of service, lunch on an Easter Monday, therefore not necessarily canteen or wedding-style timing, just enough to appreciate the food and the company of the diners, excellent quality of raw materials, a fair quality/price ratio promoted almost with full marks, perhaps a few fewer people guaranteed better logistics, a venial sin, however satisfied and definitely recommended....

If you're browsing the reviews to decide whether or not to eat at this place... GO GO GO! The food is truly good, excellent I'd say! You can taste the carefully selected ingredients in the flavors of the dishes. And those who know their stuff cook to perfection. The torta fritta (fried gnocco) is not greasy, the perfectly balanced giardiniera (pickled vegetables), the amazing cured meats, the pisarei e fasö (fried pasta), and the rice with gorgonzola (caramelized onion) are exquisite. In the dining room, you're accompanied by attentive (but not intrusive) service and friendly, smiling staff. It's truly a treat. The atmosphere is welcoming, a five-star osteria I'd call it. I hope to return with two stomachs; one isn't enough. Sincere compliments!

I had dinner last night with relatives in a family-friendly setting, which made us feel at ease from the first minute, with excellent food and attentive, thoughtful service. A Sunday lunch away from home, savoring traditions we've never seen before. Rusticity and flavor are the hallmarks of their dishes. A generous appetizer with cured meats, giardiniera, gorgonzola, and endless torta fritta. For our first course, we had pisarei e fasoi (a type of pasta with beans) and ricotta ravioli: the best we've ever had. After the first courses, there was still room to share a freshwater fried fish: the lightest fried fish. We finished with dessert and left with a smile. We had dinner on a Sunday evening, everything was very nice, the atmosphere was typical of the past.

We had lunch on Christmas Day and I have to say we were absolutely amazed... the food was excellent and of high quality... after we had eaten the first courses, a super waiter came to serve us the boiled meat directly from the trolley... Professor Persegani himself!!! The sister and niece were very kind, and we chatted with them at the register, where I also purchased their giardiniera!!! We will definitely be back to try their gnocco fritto, which from the photos and reviews looks like the best.... Thank you and see you soon!!!
