I went for lunch today. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. The torta fritta and salami were amazing, and the pisarei and ricotta tortelli were excellent. It's a shame about the river fish, which wasn't fresh and was undercooked.
We would have liked a delicious zuppa inglese to finish off the meal, but even the kids could have eaten that.
Perse was helpful and friendly, just like on TV.

Today, May 24, 2026, my husband, my uncles, and I had lunch at this very welcoming and family-friendly restaurant. The staff was very kind, and the food was excellent.
The dishes were tasty and plentiful.
I was fortunate enough to meet Professor Daniele Persegani, whom I've been following for 18 years, from Casa Alice to È Sempre Mezzogiorno. His sister was also very kind.
We'll definitely be back from Milan next time...it was worth it.

Everything was perfect.
Quality food, extremely friendly staff...and what can I say about Chef Persegani, who is already unknown...friendly and open to chatting with everyone at the table?
His dishes are truly sublime, a special mention for Nicoletta's "giardinera" (a kind of vegetable salad).
P.S....the recipe for the fried gnocco remains a secret (so you have to come back again and again to delight your palate).

Chosen for a family reunion, I discovered old-fashioned flavors, authenticity, and genuineness in the preparations. Service was at times inconsistent due to the large Sunday crowds, but very courteous and welcoming. The location is a typical "stilt house" typical of the floodplains of the middle and lower reaches of the Po River, with its advantages (old-world charm) and disadvantages (accessibility, soundproofing). Professor Persegani, a well-known television personality and the restaurant's co-owner, along with his sister, also appeared in the dining room, and I can confirm his great friendliness. I will definitely return to enjoy other traditional Po Valley dishes, which, both visually and in taste, immediately bring back the colors and flavors of my childhood.

A pleasant discovery, a tavern serving traditional cuisine. The torta fritta is truly delicious, soft and dry, not at all greasy. Generous portions, and a blast from the past with fried freshwater fish (eel, catfish, and frogs), which are increasingly hard to find. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

Lunch to celebrate our anniversary... 43 years!! There were four of us and we ate wonderfully, a bit too much, to be honest! Thank you, and see you next time.
