Dinner was a wonderful experience. Intimate place, attentive and efficient service, excellent food and wines. We ordered the tartare and the sirloin, excellent meats and very well prepared. We are left wanting for the next visit.. Well done Clessidra and well done Emiliano.

La solita eccellente esperienza, con proposte sempre coerenti con le idee ed i percorsi che immaginano i titolari. Prodotti di alta qualità, piatti pensati e realizzati con equilibrio, grande attenzione per le intolleranze. Ottima l’idea di affiancare all’ampia carta dei vini, una più ristretta di sintesi. Con un occhio affettuoso ai produttori locali. Sempre accurato il servizio. Prezzi assolutamente competitivi in relazione alla qualità della cena. È il ristorante di livello più alto a Terni, senza dubbio. Unica pecca: il locale è piccolo e si sta un tantino stretti e talvolta ci si imbatte, come ovunque del resto, in qualche commensale poco educato.. La Clessidra garanzia assoluta.

The food One of the most fascinating aspects of La Clessidra is its menu which changes every month, always offering new dishes inspired by the seasonality of the ingredients. The cuisine, creative and well cared for, enhances the authentic flavours, transforming each course into a small masterpiece. From appetizer to dessert, each dish is a surprise, with generous portions and impeccable presentations. Particularly memorable was the risotto creamed with local cheeses and a touch of citrus, followed by a very tender fillet accompanied by crunchy vegetables. The environment The rustic atmosphere of the restaurant, with exposed beams, wooden furnishings and soft lights, gives a sense of warmth and intimacy. You have the feeling of being welcomed into a large country house, where every detail is taken care of to make guests feel at ease. Perfect for a romantic dinner, but also for a meeting with friends or family. The service Impeccable. The staff is professional and friendly, always available to explain the dishes and suggest the best wine pairings. The smile and care of the staff make the experience even more pleasant. Warm and welcoming environment, very (well) frequented. A nice menu but the execution is not memorable. Good starters (excellent venison tartare), so-so main courses (mediocre cod on an overly dried out cream of vegetables), the dessert is not worth it (apple pie and trifle)
