I had the pleasure of dining at the La Clessidra restaurant, a place that combines the excellent quality of the cuisine with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. It was an experience that exceeded all expectations. The food One of the most fascinating aspects of La Clessidra is its menu which changes every month, always offering new dishes inspired by the seasonality of the ingredients. The cuisine, creative and well cared for, enhances the authentic flavours, transforming each course into a small masterpiece. From appetizer to dessert, each dish is a surprise, with generous portions and impeccable presentations. Particularly memorable was the risotto creamed with local cheeses and a touch of citrus, followed by a very tender fillet accompanied by crunchy vegetables. The environment The rustic atmosphere of the restaurant, with exposed beams, wooden furnishings and soft lights, gives a sense of warmth and intimacy. You have the feeling of being welcomed into a large country house, where every detail is taken care of to make guests feel at ease. Perfect for a romantic dinner, but also for a meeting with friends or family. The service Impeccable. The staff is professional and friendly, always available to explain the dishes and suggest the best wine pairings. The smile and care of the staff make the experience even more pleasant. Emiliano è un oste perfetto a cui fa da spalla una brigata che non delude in nessun piatto. C’è cura dei dettagli a partire dalla scelta delle materie prime e dei produttori, fino all’impiattamento sempre curato pur mantenendo l’autenticità di ciò che si sta mangiando. Il ristorante è un luogo intimo e senza tempo dalle luci soffuse in cui sentirsi a casa o per trascorrere una serata romantica.

Warm and welcoming environment, very (well) frequented. A nice menu but the execution is not memorable. Good starters (excellent venison tartare), so-so main courses (mediocre cod on an overly dried out cream of vegetables), the dessert is not worth it (apple pie and trifle)

Siamo stati in questo ristorante un paio di volte di passaggio a Terni, lo abbiamo individuato tra i locali certificati Aic (sono celiaca). Il locale è accogliente e permeato di un'atmosfera rilassata. Il titolare gentile e professionale lascia trasparire una passione per il proprio lavoro ed un entusiasmo che fanno piacere. Le portate particolari e gustose: io ho preso un risotto ed il mio compagno ravioli e di secondo entrambi la pancia di vitello ripiena di funghi porcini e patate, tutto buonissimo! C'è un'ampia scelta di vini di buona qualità sui quali il titolare è preparatissimo anche se noi stasera non ne abbiamo bevuto. Alla prossima!

High quality restaurant, refined and delicious dishes, impeccable service, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, private and intimate venue. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the city. Highly recommended!
