Dining at Elefante Marino is an experience to be savoured. The atmosphere is refined yet familiar. The dishes are worthy of a Michelin-starred chef, yet understandable and PLENTY. The waiters are attentive and helpful, but not intrusive. A restaurant worth visiting. I recommend the fish parmigiana and the seafood carbonara... Incredible!

I had booked in advance, specifically asking for a table on the panoramic terrace, precisely because it was a special occasion. When we arrived, we found ourselves in a small garden outside the restaurant, with gravel on the ground and close to a hedge. Only at that moment were we told that the terrace was occupied for a private party. In fact, no one had warned us beforehand: with more transparent communication we could have considered other alternative options. The atmosphere was further disturbed for the first part of the dinner by the loud music coming from the adjacent restaurant, where a karaoke evening was underway. The staff was kind and helpful, but the service and presentation of the dishes were not up to the price, even taking into account the 20% TheFork discount. The dishes were served in a truly overly simple way: the octopus, for example, arrived on the plate with the cooking water and two strips of toasted bread, without any attention to aesthetics. We had ordered a lobster catalana for two a day in advance: the quality of the raw material was good, but the presentation of the dish and the accompaniment (with carrots, celery and even raw peppers) was not convincing and did not live up to expectations, especially for the price range. The welcome entrée was appreciable, even if not memorable: a small portion of seafood couscous. Almost at the end of the dinner, I had reported the inconvenience to the owner, who had assured us of a "reparative" gesture during the billing phase... which however did not happen... Too bad, the potential is there, but the overall experience did not live up to expectations.

Great food and great location... a little expensive

The place is very beautiful, a work of art, the food is of excellent quality and pleasant to the taste. A great experience, even the background music made the evening magical.

We went to this restaurant with my family and the experience was impeccable from every point of view. The environment is very well cared for in every detail, elegant and welcoming. The staff was competent, friendly and always available. We started with a large plate of raw fish and a tartare: absolute freshness and presentation worthy of a starred restaurant. Followed by a risotto and spaghetti with clams, both tasty. We couldn't miss a crispy and dry mixed fry, and finally a baked turbot with vegetables: perfect cooking and delicate flavor. We concluded with two desserts, both delicious, to crown a truly memorable lunch. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Non posso che dare pieno punteggio. In primis per la location, davanti al mare, poi per l'arredamento originale, per la gentilezza del personale e del proprietario che ti fa sentire la passione del suo lavoro. I piatti sono ottimi sia di qualità che di presentazione. Lo consiglio senza remore. E ci torneremo senza dubbio!
