I was cycling along the Calabrian Park Road... The hotel has a wonderful, authentic charm. Everything is very well-maintained and clean. A warm welcome from father and son. Dinner in a stylish retro restaurant, with linen tablecloths, candles, etc., was of outstanding quality, and the wine recommendations were perfect for the appetizer and main course. I rarely write reviews for average establishments. I usually do so if I'm particularly happy or unhappy with them. Almost never if asked. In this case, the review is extremely positive. Excellent staff in every area and excellent food. I'd say the fact that the establishment isn't modern allows for excellent value, and it's all managed by a great person, Rodolfo, a man of few words but great sensitivity. A place worth visiting because it does good in every sense.

The entire staff was kind and courteous. Excellent breakfast and delicious dinners. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

As I've read in other reviews, it's true that the building is showing its age, but tell me: would you prefer a modern but dirty and poorly functional hotel, or one like this, older but clean and welcoming? The location is excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is good and varied. The price for a double room was fair. I recommend it. And I recommend booking by phone and agreeing on the price, rather than relying on various Booking.com websites.

05/09/2025: What a cute place, so glad we found it. What a find! The food was excellent. Flavorful and accommodating for my dietary restrictions. We were waited on by the owner who made sure we were happy with our food and service. They have only been open since April but they do a great job with both service and food. Wishing them good luck in the future. We hope to be back soon!

Ristorante b&b la casa incantata

06/10/2025: I arrived too early however, the staff were very accomondating and allowed me to stay and for awhile I had the whole resaurant to myself. I was sat in the cave like area which was very atmospheric, clean and the decor was suitable with the music helping with the whole experience. The staff were wearing smiling faces and looked happy to be of service! I orded a carafe of house wine which was very welcoming after the soaking I got finding my AirBnB. The choice of meal was a hot one after travelling from Lamezia airort eating cold foods from bars, so I decided on the Mixed meat grill with a salad all cooked fresh apart from the salad lol. The local lemon cheescake was the best ever I have tasted in all my 72 years on the planet, drunk down with a local limoncello perfectto.
03/10/2025: The location is beautiful, but what about the appetizers? We had a seafood appetizer, which wasn't very generous, and a house appetizer with a slice of each cured meat and some vegetables. Both were out of proportion for the price.
