Dinner with friends at this restaurant, whose first impression is a stunning view of Lake Como and a family welcome. I opted for an excellent lake appetizer and RISO IN CAGNONE WITH PERCH FILLETS, which was completely satisfying! The REAL rice and perch that true Como residents know! Not the kind they foist on you in tourist restaurants, but the one prepared according to our grandmothers' recipe. Congratulations! PS: I don't have photos because it was a dish meant to be enjoyed immediately. 😉

We booked a dinner at sunset there and it was perfect! The wiev was wonderful, the food delicious, and hosts made us feel very welcomed 🥰 I highly recommend this place 🥰

We had such a wonderful and special time at Falchetto restaurant to celebrate our bachelorette party. The view on Como is breathtaking, the restaurant feels remote and isolated, away from the crowds in the nature. You can feel the family run approach from the start. They were super accommodating and made our event truly special - the decorations (way beyond what we asked), the homemade cake, and they even got us after we asked an Aperol XL size which made our evening with the bride super fun. Amazing value for money and taste! They also brought us by van back to the funicular, and helped us ensure we were on time. I'll definitely return, and next time maybe stay overnight. Thank you so so much, it's been an unforgettable experience! P.s. on the way there, we took a funicular and exited at the middle station with a 15 min hike to get there.

Everything was delicious, quality traditional food. Stunning view, excellent wines. Barolo and Krug are plentiful. The best place in Como and the surrounding area.

Tucked away in the peaceful woods above Lake Como, we found this charming family-run hotel and restaurant. Truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is magical – ancient wooden rooms full of character, history, and warmth, all perfectly blending into the natural surroundings. What truly takes your breath away are the panoramic views of Lake Como and the sunsets. Warm and welcoming, you feel more like a guest in a family home than at a hotel. The cuisine is traditional, high-quality, and absolutely flawless – every meal is a celebration of local flavors and craftsmanship. The wine selection is outstanding, featuring gems like Krug Champagne and Borgogno Barolo, alongside beautifully curated Valtellina wines. It’s clear that every bottle is chosen with care.

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED - DO NOT GO THE GOOGLE MAPS ROUTE. (Google Maps takes you down a road that a large car can't get through, and a low one will scrape its bumper. Follow the directions provided by the owner.) I'm writing this review as a hotel guest. The restaurant staff and the hotel owner were wonderful, the food was very good, above hotel standards. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the views were unforgettable both in the evening and in the morning. Cons: the bed creaked loudly and the walls were cardboard-thin. Some drunk Italians happened to be in the room next to us. A BIG minus is the access, although it's not the restaurant's fault and nothing can be done about it, it's so inconvenient for the customer that it deserves mentioning. It's a 7km steep driveway, like a shopping mall parking lot, with twisty turns and tight passages. If you also follow Google Maps like we did, you'll have to give up. If your car has less than 100 km/h, I'd give it a miss.

Fantastic family-run restaurant (and hotel). We were greeted by the owner who kindly and affably showed us to our table. While waiting for our aperitif, we enjoyed the view and the magical silence of the place. Everything was delicious, the timing was perfect, and the atmosphere was ultra-romantic when the outdoor lights came on after sunset. My wife and I were celebrating a special anniversary, and this setting was a precious gift and an unforgettable memory. A sincere thank you to Nicole and her family.

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. Incredible food, wonderful views, and top notch service. So happy to support this beautiful family business. Don’t hesitate! Worth the walk!

A magnificent restaurant on Lake Como, with a beautiful view of the lake, mountains, and sunset. Delicious, traditional, and home-made food. Beautiful wine list, with excellent reds like Barolo and Champagne (especially Krug!)
