An unforgettable place in every sense. The atmosphere created by the family who run this restaurant and guesthouse is unlike anything else - the closest comparison would be a warm, welcoming, genuinely loving home. The location itself is absolutely magical, but it’s the way guests are looked after that turns a beautiful spot into a truly exceptional experience. The view alone would easily justify paying two or even three times more for both the meal and the stay - and then come the little surprises, like wild boar wandering just below the window. And of course, the food: the owner’s wife cooks with such skill and heart that every dish feels like a highlight in its own right. The service is wonderful, thoughtful, and sincerely caring. Just one piece of essential advice: if you’re arriving by car, follow the owner’s directions exactly. Do not rely on Google Maps - trust him, and you’ll get there safely and without stress. A magical stay. Highly recommended.

A place with a breathtaking view, a panorama you'll never stop looking at. A hotel nestled in the woods. Staff are friendly and capable. The quality of the service is well above average, and the rooms are meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail.

I had the pleasure of spending an evening at this hotel restaurant during a Champagne tasting event: Krug and Ruinart specials. Excellent hospitality: friendly, attentive, and welcoming service. The quality of the products offered is also commendable. Splendid view of Lake Como. Recommended!

Overpriced lodging and restaurant. Pay atention they will make you wait outside !! until 7 pm to admit you to ghd hotel which needs rennovation

This place is absolutely magical. We arrived at sunset and had the most delicious dinner of pastas (bolognese and gnocchi) and steak with a bottle of wine before finishing it off with the homemade desserts (tiramisu and apricot tart). The ambiance is unbeatable along with the service. Run by the sweetest family who even gave us a ride home

Lovely place, quality food and excellent service

Dinner with friends at this restaurant, whose first impression is a stunning view of Lake Como and a family welcome. I opted for an excellent lake appetizer and RISO IN CAGNONE WITH PERCH FILLETS, which was completely satisfying! The REAL rice and perch that true Como residents know! Not the kind they foist on you in tourist restaurants, but the one prepared according to our grandmothers' recipe. Congratulations! PS: I don't have photos because it was a dish meant to be enjoyed immediately. 😉

We booked a dinner at sunset there and it was perfect! The wiev was wonderful, the food delicious, and hosts made us feel very welcomed 🥰 I highly recommend this place 🥰

We had such a wonderful and special time at Falchetto restaurant to celebrate our bachelorette party. The view on Como is breathtaking, the restaurant feels remote and isolated, away from the crowds in the nature. You can feel the family run approach from the start. They were super accommodating and made our event truly special - the decorations (way beyond what we asked), the homemade cake, and they even got us after we asked an Aperol XL size which made our evening with the bride super fun. Amazing value for money and taste! They also brought us by van back to the funicular, and helped us ensure we were on time. I'll definitely return, and next time maybe stay overnight. Thank you so so much, it's been an unforgettable experience! P.s. on the way there, we took a funicular and exited at the middle station with a 15 min hike to get there.
