Beautiful place and good food. The only flaw is that they made us dine early because the kitchen closed at 9 pm, while I had asked to go at 8:30 pm.

chiocciola slowfood abbastanza meritata. Al durnwald è la storicità l’elemento di base, e un quadro all’ingresso dimostra la discendenza che parte dal 1600. La sala non corrisponde allo stereotipo dei locali altoatesini innondati di legno e oggetti alle pareti. Qui la sala è piu “italiana”. La storia ls si vede anche nei piatti ben radicati alla tradizione con pochi sfronzoli. Bella esperienza anche se non ha lasciato il segno

Excellent traditional restaurant. Mother and daughter Silvia Mair in the kitchen. Great cook. Local dishes done very well. Generous portions and a more than fair price. Helmuth Foppa

Tutto veramente squisito. Abbiamo provato i canederli leggeri e ben eseguiti. Due primi , il tagliolino al sangue e formaggio grigio e un ricordo che mi portò via … pazzesco . Costolette di agnello saporite e ben servite. Servizio curato e simpatico Conto nella norma . Qualità alta. Tornerei

Pizzeria Bachler

02/08/2025: I had a great time, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent.
25/07/2025: We found this hidden gem of a restaurant and would love to recommend it to everyone visiting Castelrotto/Kastelruth. From the street, you enter a simple doorway (or elevator) down to the Pizzeria Restaurant Bachler where you will find a lovely dining room which opens onto a large outdoor dining area and deck with a beautiful mountain view. The service is especially great and the food is presented beautifully and so delish you’ll want to come back again and again!
