Welcoming and tasty, if you're tired of the dozens of anonymous pizzerias and restaurants in Diamante and Scalea, this restaurant is for you. Typical Calabrian products and dishes, in a village with a magnificent view. The entire town is a hamlet of steps and narrow streets; don't use GPS to get here. Call the restaurant for parking advice; we went to Piazza XVII Settembre.

I visited this restaurant serving traditional Calabrian cuisine, and I must say it was a true culinary delight! The food was incredible; every dish we ordered was prepared with care and love for Calabrian tradition. The waiter Francesco recommended the best dishes; his kindness and professionalism were truly appreciated. Excellent value for money. If you love Calabrian cuisine, you can't miss this place.

We magically found ourselves here...me and my desire, after 10 days of only fish, to eat meat and above all...I want to taste authentic Calabrian cuisine!!! And here we are...in a breathtaking place...between the Pollino Mountains and the sea... A breathtaking view, a spectacle that satisfies all the senses...except the palate... That's what Lucia thinks!!! We're practically having lunch with the family...typical dishes, practically free... Ask, find out, come...it will be an unforgettable experience

If you want to escape the bustling Diamente and enjoy some good, traditional Calabrian cuisine, this is the place for you! Nestled in the village of Buonvicino and surrounded by mountains, Don Ippolito welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. We enjoyed a relaxing lunch overlooking a beautiful panorama (the village, the mountains, and the sea in the distance). Their house antipasto was amazing, full of local products, and the two first courses we ordered were also delicious! Highly recommended!

We're in a small village made up entirely of steps, and to get there, don't follow the GPS but call and ask for directions to the nearby square. We had a wonderful dinner, ordering their tasting menu. The lady who runs the restaurant is very kind and gives excellent advice. We booked through The Fork. From the terrace, there's a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. A truly enchanting place.

A lovely place with a lovely view and a rustic atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food is good quality and impeccably presented. The price is a bit higher than expected. Overall, a good experience.... RECOMMENDED...

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Buonvicino, and to get there you have to climb a few steps from the square. It's the hotel restaurant, so as soon as you enter, you'll find the reception. The atmosphere is very charming, but the best part is the view from the window overlooking the valley, with the sea at the bottom. We were welcomed by Mrs. Lucia, who appeared from the kitchen with a tray of gnocchi ready to be dropped into the water just after they'd been made... That's when we started dreaming! The appetizer was made with vegetables from their garden, the first courses were fabulous, all homemade. The gnocchi were amazing. The second course... What can I say? The best parmigiana I've ever eaten in my life (and my aunt makes a fabulous parmigiana!) Finally, tiramisu, limoncello cream, and off to the beach, full and happy. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Buonvicino!!!
