Ristorante di Fontanafredda In Casteltermini

I went to this restaurant on January 2nd. It was quite late and since there wasn't even a restaurant open in Casteltermini (town), I started searching on Google for restaurants in the area. Luckily Fontanafredda answered the phone in a friendly manner. So after about 15 minutes of driving, I arrive at this place. The location is very particular, I personally liked the room best which was closed at the time and I had lunch in the white room. The owner welcomed us, recommended a fish starter which was delicious and since it was rich and excellent, my family and I were already full and happy. My family and I also got a dessert (almond parfait) which was very good. The price was really great. Well done! In addition to the food which was delicious, what I liked most was that despite the late hour (2.15pm) we were able to have lunch without any rush. Which is rare these days. I recommend this place if you go to Agrigento and its surroundings as it is quite close to the Palermo-Agrigento state road.

Lovely lunch on an impromptu stop. They were closed for lunch but allowed us to stay and fed us a lovely meal for our family with warm service.

Restaurant in the middle of nowhere. From the outside you could think you were in Essaouira with the white walls and blue shutters. Pretty body of water outside. We were unlucky, but during midday during the week it was not possible to order pizzas. The fries were very very good as well as the meat and the Gnocchi. But the service was really very long, so we didn't order dessert for fear that it would take as long as the dishes.

A dive into the memories of a past handed down through the stories of those places, lived in the 40s. Enchanting place full of history of noble inhabitants of the past, well preserved and made very welcoming. Excellent food and top notch service. Excellent value for money. A perfect location to spend an evening with family, friends or as a couple. Recommended to everyone...
