I had dinner with friends. Everything was great, and it couldn't have been otherwise, given the 175 years of business run by the same family. Congratulations, and if you're passing through Varallo, you know where to go.

A lovely restaurant at the foot of the Sacred Mount of Varallo. We ate wonderfully in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel was a sensational discovery for us during a long excursion from South Tyrol to Plemont. Hidden in a side valley right at the foot of the Sacro Monte di Varallo, we were pampered with warmth. Recently renovated and very comfortable rooms (currently only four), a beautiful terrace and a restaurant with an excellent atmosphere. And mother's cooking was a poem, it was worth coming back for lunch the next day.

To consider 4 days, it rained very heavily so I can't say more, mother and daughter are really kind, good/excellent dishes, good cellar. Recommended for a good weekend. Sacred mountain of Varallo.

30/07/2025: It's a nice place, well-kept and clean, the food is excellent. I recommend it!
17/07/2025: We had a great time here. The food was very good. Our server Ledi was even better. Such a great guy! He is the reason i wanted to post a review. We wanted to share another pizza after we finished because we were very hungry. After that we wanted another one. We got new plates and new cutlery everytime even tho i said we could use the same plates, but he insisted with a smile.

La Perla di Trino

20/08/2025: I've eaten at La Perla many times and have always had a great experience with everything. The pizza, at least, is delicious: thick, soft, and cooked to perfection. The seafood entrees and fish are spectacular, and the desserts are delicious. I don't think I've ever tried anything with meat, but judging by the fact that it's always packed, even after mid-August, and it's best to book, there must be a reason. If I really have to find a flaw, it's the service, which is a bit slow, but then again, it's always busy, so there's a wait.
13/08/2025: Very good pizza and amazing chocolate cake. More than fair prices.
