Very pleasant place surrounded by nature... some flaws in the food (uncooked macaroni and cold breakfast), but the place is really beautiful and the service is always impeccable

Absolutely positive experience, from the location to the service, not exaggerated price, very very functional and relaxing spa, food up to par thanks also to the chef Nicola Di Lorenzo. Villa CeSi to try!

We spent a wonderful weekend in this hotel in the heart of Chianti. A place of peace and relaxation. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was exceptional. Really highly recommended!

In occasione del nostro 25 anniversario di matrimonio abbiamo deciso di tornare in questo luogo dove avevamo fatto il ricevimento di nozze 25 anni fa. Abbiamo trovato disponibilità, cortesia , e un ambiente completamente rinnovato ! La cena è stata ottima, curata nei dettagli con prodotti di ottima qualità. Le portate una più buona dell’altra. Staff qualificato e molto gentile. Consigliato!

22/04/2025: first time in this restaurant, years ago it was a grocery store. honestly I will come back here, the waiting staff who I think was also one of the owners were extremely kind. the menu clearly based on meat and of excellent quality! I decided to try the spaghetti with sausage and puntarelle, and then the fried lamb with artichokes. my daughter started with the prosciutto crudo, and from the first taste it was clearly a handmade and quality product, and then pasta with butter. my wife opted for the artichoke flan and then pappardelle with duck ragù!

La Locanda di Pietracupa

01/06/2025: The best restaurant in the region. At least of all the ones we've been to! Everything is top-notch.
05/05/2025: We had a horrible dinner before coming here, so we were hoping to redeem our evening with some dessert and coffee at La Locanda. Sadly, we were treated poorly because we were not ordering dinner. I worked in hospitality for 15 years, and would never change my level of service, regardless of what was being ordered. We likely would have returned here for a full meal during the remainder of our visit to Chianti, but since the staff was very rude, we will certainly not return. The stars are only for the dessert, as it was very unique and delicious.
