My girlfriend and I unfortunately only stayed one night in your cozy Ortlerblick suite on our return trip from Milan. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful 180-degree view of the Alps from our balcony and our accommodation. Our suite was very modern and absolutely clean. The Illmer family owns a very well-maintained, comfortable, and tastefully furnished property, which they make available to their guests along with friendly and courteous staff. Not only the very friendly hotelier, but also the service team took great care of our well-being. The 5-course dinner menu was exceptionally varied, a feast for the eyes, and very digestible. For a vegetarian like me, there was a huge selection of delicacies. The service came to our table regularly and discreetly to provide us with the best culinary delights. The selection of drinks, both at dinner and breakfast, left nothing to be desired. The breakfast offerings were very extensive. There were a variety of fresh juices, fruit, rolls, bread, cheeses, etc. We are very sorry we only booked for one night. Next time, we will definitely stay longer to have more time for the luxurious wellness area. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her massage in the afternoon. We felt very comfortable. The staff deserves special mention. Every request was immediately accommodated. Regarding the mattresses, which are often far too soft: yes, mine was too soft too. A quick word at the reception desk, and I was given a "firmer" topper. Everything was perfect – only people who speak English were available to help. The gondola is just a few minutes away, and the Meran 2000 ski and hiking area is only 10 minutes away by car. We had the perfect mix of wellness and active vacation.

The Verdinser Hof is a hotel in the style of South Tyrolean charm. It's not the newest, but it's still clean and very tidy. The staff is excellent, courteous, attentive, and friendly. Special requests, such as those at breakfast, are accommodated. The wellness facilities are extensive (3 indoor pools, 1 outdoor pool, plenty of loungers, and there's even a small rustic sauna village on site). In the evening, there's a 5-course menu – tastefully prepared and delicious. It's good value for money. I travel for business very often and can't understand the complaints of some previous reviewers (code cards instead of keys, or the staff's performance). Dear vacationers, be fair! I'd definitely stay at the Verdinser Hof again.

Since we left much earlier due to the holiday season, but managed to avoid traffic, we arrived at the hotel around 10:00 a.m. The friendly German-speaking gentleman at the reception desk was already able to give us the keys to our room, which was really great. Unfortunately, the 5-course dinner was already fully booked, so the option to add it on later was no longer available. I would recommend driving a bit and trying pizza and pasta in town. Otherwise, everything was very nice. The view from the room was truly stunning.

The Verdinser Hof in Scena is a charming hotel with a characteristic mountain hut style, captivating guests with its welcoming and refined atmosphere. The food is simply exceptional: half board is highly recommended for the variety and quality of the dishes offered. The staff is distinguished by their helpfulness and courtesy, helping to make the stay even more enjoyable. The wellness facilities include two splendid pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a relaxing whirlpool, and a full-service spa, perfect for moments of pure relaxation. The only small points that could be improved are the lack of replenishment of appetizers during dinner and the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, or at least a portable fan. However, these details do not detract from the fantastic experience. If I have the opportunity, I will gladly return in the winter to discover the charm of the property in a new season.

A very nice hotel, the sauna area is truly romantic, and the garden with a view of Tirolo is the perfect place to relax after a hike. We only had breakfast; I can't comment on dinner, but the Dorfstube (part of the hotel) right outside the hotel with its host, Roland, is highly recommended. The breakfast is okay; the only downside is that you can't order fried eggs or an omelet, which should be standard at a 4-star hotel. Our room facing the garden was wonderfully quiet, and we didn't hear any noise or toilet flushing from other rooms. The service and housekeeping staff are always friendly and helpful. Yes, great view and quiet location, the sauna village is unique, it is very impressive, lots of places to retreat and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We once again had a wonderful time at the Verdinser Hof. Excellent and attentive service, very good cuisine. The rooms are very nice, large, and functionally equipped. Large hotel complex with expansive views. Everything is well maintained and very clean. In summary: Nothing was left to be desired.
