A somewhat dated hotel with very good service. Everything was nice and clean. Our room (54) had a spectacular view of the Borromean Islands. Sunrise.

We stayed at this truly beautiful hotel for five nights in August. The room was right on the lake, and the view was priceless! The hotel is family-run, and it shows! If you're looking for a quiet hotel with lots of love, a romantic balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore and the two islands of Isola Bella and Isola Madre, you absolutely have to book a room here!

A very well-run hotel. Super friendly staff, wonderful and friendly owners.
Very pet-friendly.
Delicious breakfast, although the cheese and sausage can vary from time to time.
Rooms are good, and air conditioning is a game-changer in the summer.
The view of the lake is priceless.
Parking is available; if it's full, just let us know and we'll find a spot.
The terrace is also great. Good loungers with a parasol.
If you want to find something negative, it's the access to the water. The stairs are steep and not comfortable, and the alternative access isn't really an alternative either.
This makes access to the water impossible for older people or those with limited mobility, as well as for those with pets. But then you'll go somewhere else if you need easier access to the water.
The hotel is highly recommended.

A small but charming family-run hotel right on the lake. A quiet area for the beach, with direct access to the lake. Very clean rooms, huge balcony and the bright and welcoming dining room overlooks the lake.

A small but charming family-run hotel right on the lake. A quiet sunbathing area with direct access to the lake. Very clean rooms, and the bright and welcoming dining room overlooks the lake. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, varied, and plentiful. We had dinner at the hotel twice and were impressed by the quality and taste of the dishes (one fish and one meat each). The service staff is friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend it.

View 10/10, beautiful view of Isola Bella
Unfortunately, the room didn't have a refrigerator. The balcony was also great for enjoying the view.
The staff is very friendly and tries to fulfill every request.
Rooms are clean.
It's a bit outside of Baveno, which is a bit of a shame. However, they do provide free bicycles. I wouldn't cycle to Baveno with children, though.
Beds were, for me, too soft, the soundproofing of the rooms could be improved, breakfast was good, the staff was present and very helpful, the location was fantastic

We were pleasantly surprised by the service and the room overlooking the lake and the islands.
This hotel is run by the fifth generation of the family, and it shows; we were warmly welcomed, with half-board options featuring typical Italian cuisine and a wide selection at breakfast.
The hotel is located near Baveno, well-located for exploring the lake.

Family-run hotel that is worth a visit for what it offers. A warm welcome from the manager and the excellent staff. The room is equipped with many comfort details, projecting the 4-star level (nothing is missing). The location directly on the lake with an equipped relaxation area is fantastic. Large and varied breakfast (sweet and savory). I would also like to compliment the chef for how she cooked the scrambled eggs! Large private parking. The provision of bicycles for guests allows you to easily reach Stresa and Baveno (closest towns), if not further. For the professionalism, courtesy and friendliness shown by the management and service staff I could and should only say Thank you. High Rating
