Good food but a little expensive

Hotel with charm, does things better than "modern" hotels. Simone, the current owner, is a sociable and understanding guy. The hotel has an on-site restaurant that is worth checking out. Good breakfast, great coffee, what more could you ask for? we will see each other

We had lunch at the restaurant, nothing special, it left me quite indifferent.

We stayed at the Hotel Monte Nerone for 3 nights and immediately felt very comfortable. The family that has been running the hotel for 60 years is very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own charm which I really like. Everything is a bit older but spotlessly clean. We slept and ate excellently... The pizzas were some of the best I've ever eaten... The lamb was also really tasty. The price-performance ratio is definitely right and you get something for your money here. The breakfast was a bit meager but we are used to that in Italy, the Italians just have a different breakfast. We were in Apecchio, Gubbio and of course on Monte Nerone. We can only recommend this beautiful place and I hope we see each other again :)

Hotel is completely ok. Run by the family. Owner was very friendly. Breakfast sparse. Quite remote. Not recommended without a car. Hardly any guests in June. Suitable for hikers and nature lovers.

The hiking trails start next to the hotel, the natural environment of the area is wonderful. Since it is a hotel in front of a small village, there is no heavy traffic, it is a quiet place. The room and bathroom are impeccably cleaned every day! The kitchen is good, the roast lamb and truffle pasta are quite excellent! The staff is nice, they are also very helpful in recommending programs. Thank you for the nice days!
