I went to Poeta with other friends where we did a nice trek in the area The hotel restaurant is a historical presence of the place, a destination for passionate hikers, both Italian and foreign, who love good food The structure has maintained the classic charm of the past, the management is family-run, and the menu is of the day All very good even if not exactly cheap, the dishes are still quite generous Very convenient place because it is located along the road and at the crossroads of many paths

Excellent location being right on the road that leads to the ski stations and various hiking trails. Large, warm room, with balcony. Good but mostly sweet breakfast.

Excellent pizza tastings, excellent panna cotta and dry biscuits with vin santo; beautiful location on the slopes of Mount Nerone.

stop at the restaurant for a special menu with truffles. Linked to the hotel, it is a must for travelers due to its location at the crossroads for the road that goes up to Monte Nerone. Even though it was very crowded, there was precise service with attentive and friendly staff. The menu included various appetizers from polenta skewer to omelette with truffle, followed by exquisite passatelli with truffle fondue and duck gnocchi. For second courses, an excellent fillet with porcini mushrooms was offered, followed by a tasty rabbit in porchetta and a very tender baked lamb. Side dish of sanded potatoes and salad. Sweet, trifle, a worthy conclusion to an excellent 70s menu but truly well executed. Portions not abundant I would have expected at least a hint of refresher. Advised? If you find yourself on the street...

I stayed at the Montenerone hotel for one night and found it well looked after, a clean room and standard services.
