We were guests of the hotel from July 28th to August 10th. With our little dog Laky in tow, we honestly had a wonderful time, pampered to the max, the staff was extremely courteous, with special thanks to the cleaning lady Fernanda, always available, and to the room assistant Alessia, with whom we immediately felt at ease (perhaps because she bears the name of our daughter who lives far away), but without taking anything away from the other people in the room, always helpful and courteous. The only flaw... the elevator, the same one for everyone, even for the internal service, so it was always busy even at times when all the guests were at the beach. Believe me, not so pleasant for those on the 4th and 5th floors. And then, in my opinion, it was set up poorly, with reservations not considering who was supposed to go up or down, so most of the time it was already full and you had to rebook. In any case, a place to recommend without a shadow of a doubt.

Even though it was our first time, we felt at home. Sincere compliments to the owners and all the staff, starting with William, the chef, the cleaning ladies, the waiters, everyone—the service was truly impeccable. We'll definitely be back. I've never reviewed any business or accommodation, even though I travel frequently for work. However, I can't help but do so this time. I stayed at the hotel with my son the first week of August. The staff were always smiling and helpful, a rarity in this world, and the reception was always present. I felt at home here: the rooms were spotless and welcoming, the room attendant was professional and always available, the restaurant was simple but always varied, the food authentic and the generous portions reveal an unbridled passion for traditional cuisine, which is pleasantly reflected in the diners' wide selection of wines! Lights and shadows. Lights in the kitchen and both room and table service. The pool is decent, although seating is limited. It's a family hotel with entertainment both inside and on the beach. A rare example of how local cuisine and traditions are celebrated with themed evenings. Shades: the beach umbrellas are very close together, and the beach service is inattentive. Rooms are cramped and dated, even though the bathrooms have been recently renovated. There's only one elevator, and if you're on the 5th floor, it's a nightmare (it's slow, stops at every floor, and it's also used for service). Parking is only €12 per day, and you pay the same as for a covered carport. If you have a room on the 2nd floor (first-floor dining room) and are happy with a 1970s-style beach, you might return just for the food, which, as mentioned, is excellent.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we had a great time. The staff were friendly and welcoming, from the bar staff to the restaurant staff, the front desk staff, and even the cleaning ladies. The entertainment staff were excellent this year. The food was good and varied. The only downside was the cool, cloudy weather. Otherwise, we'll definitely be back!

We stayed at this hotel this week on vacation. It's in an excellent location facing the sea, and the beach is well-equipped and clean. The room is poorly soundproofed, the furnishings are a bit dated, and the wardrobe only fits one person; the room is very small. The elevator is quite dangerous; it closes too quickly, and you get trapped. It should definitely be checked to avoid further damage. The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire facility was very satisfactory. There were a few misunderstandings with the restaurant staff, but they quickly resolved the issue. The food was good, and the Abruzzo-themed evening was excellent. The staff at breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always kind and helpful. Overall, we had a pretty good time; everyone was always super helpful and courteous. The entertainment was gentle and never intrusive. Finally, thanks to the entire team for our pleasant stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Excelsior for eight days on a full-board basis and were very satisfied. The quality of the food was excellent, and the staff, from the owner to the waiters to the reception, were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is welcoming, clean, and well-maintained. An excellent choice for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

I've been back for a few days and I already miss it. Excellent location, clean, superb food. Excellent cleanliness in the rooms and common areas. The only flaw is the receptionists (definitely unprofessional and unhelpful) and the management staff. They're too young and incapable of resolving issues that may arise. This happened to me. The biggest flaw: only one elevator, which is very small for a family hotel, which creates long lines to use it. Furthermore, the hotel doesn't have a freight elevator, so even the service staff, when they clean the rooms, use the same elevator, which is unpleasant to say the least. It's a shame, it wouldn't take much to improve the hotel.

We stayed in the third week of June. The treatment of cleaning the rooms and the staff who take care of it is excellent and precise. As for the kitchen, having a daughter who is lactose intolerant I must admit that she was treated in an excellent way, good and abundant and then talk about the dining room staff first of all by the maitre William and Alessia, Esmeralda and Alì all very kind and helpful. Close to the beach and very convenient. Highly recommended hotel.
