Rustic place with a beautiful terrace with panoramic views. Without a menu, the manager offered us various courses including starters, first courses and second courses. We weren't very hungry so we opted for a plate of home-made vegetables (aubergines and courgettes accompanied by bruschetta), two beef tartars (very good!), a super generous first course (divided in two on the owner's initiative) of mushroom ravioli porcini mushrooms and two courses of grilled vegetables from the garden (tomatoes and snow peas in sauce). Everything excellent. Mineral waters all for €45! Truly a nice discovery.

I happened upon it by chance on April 25th, I couldn't find a place open where I could eat something. I have to say I was surprised. Not an amazing location but I must say we ate well. Roundup of cold and hot appetizers, followed by a first course (depends on the stomach but for us it would have been enough to stop after the appetizers). All really good. The quality/price ratio is also good.

Nulla di entusiasmante diciamo che se abito nella zona è un bel posticino per andarci a pranzare la domenica in famiglia ma se ci devo partire apposta valuterei qualità costo altri che sono molto meglio

La prima volta stata benissimo ho chiesto un primo veloce perché ero al lavoro e ho soltanto 30 min di pausa super gentile e veloce prezzo giusto, la secondo volta super delusa pagato 15 euro una insalata…. La terza e ultima questa settimana un primo e una coca cola 12 euro …. Non c’è un menù un prezzo fanno come gli pare !

21/08/2024: Unique experience, excellent food that preserves the simplicity of the past, characteristic location and very attentive and kind staff. I recommend it!
17/08/2024: It is not a dinner but an EXPERIENCE to have at least once in a lifetime. Finally the real innkeeper, the one from the past.... It felt like having dinner in the tavern of a farmhouse with friends. Rustic environment with tables all together eating, drinking and chatting. Excellent and abundant food and drinks, we are a couple from Vicenza and we have never lacked wine 🤣, but the thing that struck us most was the owner and all his staff who made us feel at home. They welcomed us and pampered us from start to finish....It's nice to still find genuine people who love what they do, you can feel it in the dishes and in the climate you breathe. If we return to Petritoli we will definitely stop...

17/06/2024: I had already been to the restaurant in autumn and finding myself in Grottazzolina I wanted to go back because just the thought of having dinner the first time makes my mouth water. The first time was a surprise, the second a confirmation. Courtesy and professionalism are in first place together with the very beautiful location. The dinner was superb on both occasions in which we did not choose from the menu but we took advice based also on the proposals of the day. Very tender and good meat, excellent quality wine. I hope to have the opportunity to return.
30/05/2024: Professional hospitality, courtesy, cleanliness of the rooms and spectacular restaurant!
