Very kind staff, simple Piedmontese food, we ate in the garden which is very welcoming. Everything simple but the kindness (rare thing to find) makes everything even more worthwhile.

I start from an assumption: it is a place where I would return. Having said that: the environment has remained the same as it was at least 50 years ago, the service is friendly and efficient to the right degree, however far from the expectations or parameters that a certain television program might have inculcated in the public's head. The food is good and has homemade flavors although not excellent. Value for money (including everything: local service etc etc) not optimal but! I left with a full stomach, satisfied and happy, despite all the limitations that the place may have. The Piedmontese mixed fry is in the right portions (there were two of us) preceded by 4 appetizers and accompanied by a very honest house wine that tasted good. A place to eat if you are not looking for a starry atmosphere but want to be peacefully in company.

For authentic, tasty Piedmontese fried food at a good price - this is the right place

A place where hospitality is at home! Absolutely worth trying because the food is very good, but what struck me most was the hospitality of the owners. It's basically a restaurant inside a house... it's like going to grandma's house to eat!! very particular and very familiar obviously! The lady who served us was very kind and, in addition to showing us the kitchen with a huge stove where they cooked food on it just like in the past, she also offered us coffee! (After we arrived to eat at 2pm, just before they closed and it was the only place that welcomed us!) Absolutely must try!

family environment where I return with pleasure. sympathy and friendliness every time. we took a starter of Russian salad, peppers with anchovy, raw meat, 11 euros each (22 euros in total). two tagliolini with mushrooms 11.5 euros (really excellent) water, 2 small glasses of wine, cover charge and two bunets. the bunet was really bad. it tasted a lot like egg and we didn't feel well in the evening. total 63 euros which seems too much to me.

Siamo tornati dopo circa 4-5 anni da Maria. La delusione maggiore è stato il fritto misto, non tanto per la quantità piuttosto per il fatto di esser stato portato tiepido, nonostante fosse stato spiegato che l'obiettivo del pranzo era proprio riassaggiare il loro piatto forte. Chi ha scelto gli antipasti ha ricevuto quelli di tipo caldo "tiepidini" come i tajarin. Insomma, a dicembre, in stanze neanche troppo riscaldate mangiare piatti tiepidi rendono deludente l'esperienza. Soprattutto è inammissibile per il fritto misto. Il prezzo alla fine è in linea con la qualità. Prezzo totale di circa 35 euro a testa, senza sapere, come sempre il prezzo delle singole portate, essendo elencate a voce e ricevendo il conto finale scritto a mano su un fogliettino. Voto 3 su 5 solo per rispetto. Ma sarebbe un 2.5. Peccato.
