Ristorante dell'Agriturismo 'l Piasi In Cortanze

Siamo stati lo scorso week end in questo splendido agriturismo, abbiamo soggiornato nella camera "Nicchia" che dispone di una vasca idromassaggio 2 posti splendida. Si dorme nel silenzio assoluto! La colazione a buffet offre ampia scelta di dolce e salato. La cena è stata superlativa, tutto ottimo e preparato con cura. Il proprietario, il signor Ivo, è una persona super disponibile e molto affabile. Torneremo sicuramente!

Very refined restaurant with classic dishes with attention to the smallest details.

We were guests of this farmhouse, while we went to the markets and Santa Claus' houses. We chose it because it also offers a SPA. We had a great time! Even though it is now winter the landscape is enchanting; rolling hills and small houses, bell towers rising in the distance. We also had dinner. Everything excellent. Mr. Ivo was an exquisite host. And patient, given the exchange of emails I subjected him to, before making the appointment!

Thanks Ivo (the owner), tasty, healthy lunch, impeccable service, good wines, without spending a lot. Quiet place, with lots of greenery, panoramic, there are also rooms and a swimming pool for the summer. A Sylvester cat peeks out when you pass the gate. In Cortanze, 15 minutes by car from the Asti Ovest toll booth.

I went to dinner one evening in November through acquaintances who they were staying at this place. We took a fixed menu, because having called at the last minute they were unable to serve us à la carte. They were all simple dishes, adequate quantity. Friendly staff and very well renovated place.

Premise, I will only review the restaurant and not the rooms and spa services it offers so let's get started: 1) RESTAURANT in a very quiet area with a beautiful setting of the Asti hills where the farmhouse where we ate is located. The interior is well-kept and there is a good number of seats; 2) FOOD, we chose their tasting menu which included two appetizers, a first course, a second course with side dish and dessert. Good Piedmontese cuisine even if nothing so excellent. The braised cheek with a touch of chocolate was perhaps the dish that impressed me the most. Unfortunately the Tiramisu... were layers of sponge cake (not even dipped in coffee) with a layer of Nutella or chocolate cream which was stupendous and nauseating. Sin; 3) SERVICE The girl who served us was very kind and friendly, she was also very good at interacting with the little girl, entertaining her and involving her cheerfully. There was a bit of confusion regarding the person who served us and recommended the wine, in fact we had asked for a Nebbiolo that went well with the tasting menu (since we had many on the menu) but we received a wine of different year than the one he recommended to us... details 😅; 4) I would say the BILL was very adequate for what we ate and for the location (even if that tiramisu... left a bit of a 'bitter' taste in my mouth). In any case, I will update the review when I return to try the hospitality and spa service 😉

Enchanting location, surrounded by greenery, quiet but convenient from the provincial road (access by asphalt road); the entire asset is renovated, cared for and maintained to perfection, both the external areas and the building. Friendly staff also available to give information on places to visit; Buffet breakfast with various homemade dishes with company products, dinner in the internal restaurant is also excellent. Perfect suite for two days of complete relaxation, air conditioned with minibar and hydromassage tub in the room. I will gladly return to visit other places in the area!

Wonderful place! For those seeking peace and tranquility this is the right place! Excellent food and friendly attentive staff!!
