Ristorante Del Porto In Pescara

I'm sorry to say that it wasn't a particularly good experience. The food was good, although the second courses took almost an hour to arrive. The place is pleasant, the outdoor area is undoubtedly beautiful. Particular note of merit goes to one of the staff boys and one of the older waiters, who behaved excellently. Unfortunately the positives end there. We asked for a tray to take away the leftovers and although the waitress agreed, it never arrived. But the really worst part is allowing smoking at the table. Honestly unfair that people who pay to enjoy dinner in a restaurant should find themselves forced to breathe secondhand smoke, known to be toxic and carcinogenic, while eating. It was also full of children. Smoking half a meter away from other people, even if in an open place, does not protect in any way from secondhand smoke.

There were two of us and we had both fish and pizza. We had hot and cold appetizers, among the countless courses, particular mention goes to the superlative fish lasagna and also cuttlefish and peas. Also delicious are octopus and potatoes, spelled, courgettes and prawns, and the seafood salad for cold ones. Abundant sautéed mussels as well as all courses. As a first course we took a guitarist on the rock who was excellent to say the least and well seasoned with fish. We also took a potato and sausage pizza, an amatriciana: both light with a really well-made dough and two portions of pizzonte (one with fish and one Italian-style with raw ham) very, very good. Rustic but welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff, especially the girl who takes orders, really good and polite. The prices are really low, the quality and quantity really satisfactory. Good compromise between quality and price

Siamo stati in questo locale di sabato sera. Nel menu c’è la possibilità del menu fisso, sia da 28€ che da 35. Ho scelto il menu da 28€ poiché è ben fatto. Si comincia con gli antipasti caldi e freddi ben fatti. C’è la possibilità di scelta tra due primi, ho scelto le linguine allo scoglio però non avevano molto sapore mentre il secondo con frittura e arrosto ben cotto e misto. Bevande incluse. Servizio scadente. Purtroppo hanno sbagliato gli ordini il pizzaiolo ci ha guardato malissimo nonostante fosse un suo errore quindi poco cordiale con la tavolata e per finire i piatti sono rimasti sul tavolo per molto molto tempo e spesso dovevamo chiamarli per farli ritirare. Nel servizio si salvava un cameriere di Bari, davvero gentile, simpatico e accomodante. Prezzo ottimo. Nonostante tutto lo consiglio.

Locale anticonformista male addobbato. Sono rimasto alquanto deluso soprattutto per gli antipasti e per il servizio davvero scadente. Buoni i primi. Se ci tornerò saprò cosa scegliere.

Excellent value for money. 80s style place, friendly and helpful owner and waitresses. The only flaw is the service which is unfortunately not attentive and superficial, otherwise the dishes are good and the quality is decent.
