A very youthful atmosphere. The bar-restaurant is located directly on the beach. The tuna tartare and various salads are excellent, and the mixed fried fish is decent. The ingredients are fresh and the quality/price ratio is good. The staff is very dynamic and attentive. The beach is well-maintained. The beach is clean and not overly crowded, even during peak season. The spaces are spacious, and the gazebos ensure that guests aren't crowded together. There's a small table with a drawer for storing personal belongings, which I'd say is very useful. Whoever wrote that it's expensive probably doesn't know much about daily rates in Tuscany. The prices are consistent with the services offered, both in the restaurant and on the beach. Our furry friends are welcome; no problem in May and September, the months when I'm a regular customer.

The beach and related amenities were fine, and the atmosphere was quiet. I made a reservation at the restaurant for 2 because there were no seats beforehand. The service was fine, but I was a little disappointed with the rest of the place; perhaps it was the time. I think I'll be back.

The perfect place: excellent service, great house music and good wine

If you are looking for a day trip from Florence, this is an excellent option! We took 1 hour 20 minute train from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station to Livorno Centrale and then a taxi to Le Dune Beach and rented a couple of beach chairs. It was a very restful experience. Very few people and very pleasant. The staff was awesome and the food was seafood was excellent! When it was time to leave the manager called a taxi for us and took us back to the train station and back to Florence. Such a refreshing day away from the hustle of the city and our first time to the Mediterranean. The beach wasnt the most beautiful but it was exactly what we needed.
