The perfect place: excellent service, great house music and good wine

If you are looking for a day trip from Florence, this is an excellent option! We took 1 hour 20 minute train from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station to Livorno Centrale and then a taxi to Le Dune Beach and rented a couple of beach chairs. It was a very restful experience. Very few people and very pleasant. The staff was awesome and the food was seafood was excellent! When it was time to leave the manager called a taxi for us and took us back to the train station and back to Florence. Such a refreshing day away from the hustle of the city and our first time to the Mediterranean. The beach wasnt the most beautiful but it was exactly what we needed.

We had an awesome time there. The day was perfect with some clouds and wind. Water was perfect at 25C. The sand is excellent for building sand castles.

The restaurant was average, with simple but tasty food. One note: even when open, it was very hot in the dining room.

Excellent establishment, friendly staff. The prices are average; in fact, I was surprised by the €1.20 coffee and the super-stuffed sandwiches for €5. The spots are large gazebos with two loungers, a deckchair, a chair, and a very convenient storage bench. Beautiful beach. Recommended.

It's not exactly cheap, but enjoying an aperitif or dinner at sunset with the sound of the waves is priceless. Fast service and attentive, friendly staff.
